Not many wins between these runners and this could be an opportunity for MADISON AVENUE to end a two-year drought. He has been performing consistently in this grade and could defy top weight here. Wardash showed nothing on his first three hurdling starts until a remote third last time, but has to be respected for powerful connections, while Reedsman has done nothing wrong on his last two starts and could be another to trouble the selection.

Musical Chord made a promising debut in a bumper, has plenty of stamina in his pedigree so could go close, while Dubai Ace shaped as though this trip would suit when a remote second last time. Lunar Exit has kept decent company over hurdles but is unproven at the trip, so preference is for BRASILIA PRINCE. He improved for the step up in trip when behind Goblet Of Fire last time, and can make his experience at longer distances count today.

Oulton Broad is not the easiest of rides, as proved by him kicking out under pressure when victorious on his penultimate start, but could go well if on his best behaviour. NAWOW, however, has no such problems, and did everything asked of him when winning on his debut over fences. He should have enough to take this if building on that performance. Monty Be Quick opened his chasing account last time, but has not looked a natural over the larger obstacles so far.

Alfred The Grey ran poorly over 2m 6f last time, but fared much better over marathon trips previously and may enjoy this distance. Count Oski showed glimpses of form last time at Wetherby, but has not won for two years, so preference is for INLAND RUN.
