Mr Jack will have been bright spot in a dark time for Andy Irvine, winning last time for the trainer after scoring prior to that for his wife Zoe Davison, who recently passed away. He has been raised a total of 10lb for those two Plumpton wins, which might make him vulnerable to TORN AND FRAYED. Nigel Twiston-Davies' gelding went close in a Haydock maiden hurdle when last tried over timber and ran a solid enough race in a jumpers' bumper last time, so should be raring to go for this. Sastruga won well at Newton Abbot two starts ago but struggled at Newbury last time, while Potters Venture was a convincing winner of a Chepstow maiden hurdle before pulling up in handicap company at Exeter. Both have claims if back to the form of their penultimate starts.
MR JACK is thriving and, given the style of his latest success at Plumpton, a return to this trip could bring even more out of him, so he's fancied to land the hat-trick despite the presence of Hidden Commander, who is a potential big improver now handicapping. Torn And Frayed also warrants consideration.

OVERAWED has made the podium off a mark of 109 the last twice and is now 1lb lower looking to make a return to the winner's enclosure. The consistent performer enjoys plenty of cut in the ground and this extended three mile test should suit. First Figaro picked up a silver medal on his first try at three miles at Ludlow last year and is interesting in first-time cheekpieces looking to defy a 417-day absence. Tinkers Hill Tommy bumped into a rival in rude health when second at Chepstow earlier this month. That was a pleasing first appearance for Rebecca Curtis and he is also noted here.

BOTHWELL BRIDGE's form so far reads very well and having scored at Warwick on his hurdles debut, lost little in defeat when third behind Bravemansgame at Newbury next time. That rival has since impressed when taking the Grade 1 Challow Hurdle, with the second on that occasion (Es Perfecto) performing with credit back at the same venue last weekend. The step up in trip is likely to suit Nicky Henderson's six-year-old and he rates as the one to beat. Henry Gondoff has been getting better with every outing and opened his account at Wetherby last month, while Exploiteur is a consistent performer whose fourth in the Grade 2 River Don Hurdle at Doncaster entitles him to plenty of respect.
BOTHWELL BRIDGE was put in his place at Newbury in December, but that form has been well advertised since, so he's fancied to resume winning ways now moving up to a distance that should be within range. Henry Gondoff is open to more progress over this longer trip and is preferred to Exploiteur for forecast purposes.

Stitch Up appeals as the type to improve now switching his attentions to handicap company for the first time, while similar comments apply to Gilwen Grayson, with the step up in trip likely to suit.

PETTY CASH boasts an interesting pedigree, with his dam an unraced half-sister to 2009 Champion Bumper hero Dunguib, and he represents a stable who are more than capable of readying one for their debut effort. World Of Dreams won nicely on his sole outing at Fontwell in November and he has to be respected despite giving 7lb and upwards to his rivals, while Saturday Song's third at Newbury last month could see him in the mix.
