Unforgettable Fire could be seen in a much better light with his debut experience behind him and Camaraderie has clearly been showing plenty of zest at home (sent off favourite last two starts), but the one to be on could be VOLOS. He's been well beaten in his couple of public appearances so far but this represents a significant drop in class and he'll be fancied to take advantage.
ROAD SHOW made amends for two second placed finishes in no uncertain fashion when scoring readily over track and trip last time in a style which makes him difficult to oppose here. Rucker and My Little Connor can fight out for the honour of chasing him home.
Archee More scored as he liked last month but this is a much stronger heat and it could pay to side with DANGEROUS SUMMER who's capable of a good deal better than he displayed over this track and trip in October. Hot Foot Slew and Harbor Craft are others to consider.
Richard Hazelton has a decent hand in this event with Streak and Gathering Kings but the one that makes most appeal is WHATITSALLABOUT. He's been running consistently well in defeat of late and appears to have been found a reasonable opportunity in which to gain a deserved second career success. Classic Sky and Death Valley could prove best of the rest.
Susan's Song looks likely to figure in this company and could take some stopping if at her best, but marginal preference is for CRAFTY MELISSA. She completed a double in emphatic style here last month and can make it three from three at this venue. Angel's Are Due is another to consider for any combination bets.
ISLESEEYOUSOON has been running well enough in better company to merit the utmost respect in this contest and he could take all the beating. Littlebrownroad and Red Rolls Royce enter calculations while it would be no surprise to see the unexposed Joe On Knee run a big race following his win here last month.
An open contest that could go the way of TEMPLAR'S CUP. He followed his track and trip win in October with a solid second last month and he's clearly in excellent heart at present. Slam My Heart has been mixing in stiffer company and is likely to prove a popular selection, with Touch Em All also impossible to ignore on the back of his two recent victories.
CONQUISTADOR'S CAT has found his form with a vengeance since being dropped in grade and looks capable of holding his own in this stiffer company. Royalnregal Dreams and Grady O also come here in search of hat tricks and are respected whilst Shakesperean Story is better than he showed last time.
COLD TRUTH had the reopposing Wildwood Pegasus back in third when finding only one too good over this track and trip last month and there's every reason to suggest he can confirm the placings this evening. Evrybodylvsraymond makes most appeal of the remainder, but few can be ruled out with confidence in a race that isn't going to take much winning.
