GRAND BUT ONE wasn't totally disgraced in a much stronger heat last time out and he could be up to landing a serious blow in this company. Dare to Be Great is respected on the pick of his efforts, but recent form leaves a bit to be desired and Juramento could give the selection most to worry about.
Heavens View needs a market check on debut as does Giant's Sister while it would be no surprise to see Toy Exchange put his experience to good use. However, it may be worth siding with CUPID'S FLAME who stepped up on her debut effort to run third last time and she may be able to progress again here.
DO MY THING reversed previous form with Digital Delight when finding only one too good over 6f here last time and Francis Meares' mare could be up to confirming her superiority in this event. Just Sailing should go close if bouncing back from her latest performance, which was well below par.
TILDA MAE appears to have improved with racing and her most recent effort suggests she's capable of picking up a race of this nature in the near future. Talk to You Later has done more than enough to be of interest in this event, while Mazukamba and Ima Doll Too are also expected to be there or thereabouts when it matters.
This represents a slight step up in class, but it was hard not to be impressed with the manner in which I'M NO CHEERLEADER scored here last month and she looks sure to give another good account. Final Afternoon, La Nina Fria and Gallop to Glory are all in fine form, but Gold Pleasure and Prosperous Queen could give the selection most to worry about.
TAKE A LEAP demonstrated the benefit of his debut experience when filling the runner-up berth over 1m at Delaware Park in August and there could be plenty of improvement to come from the John Servis-trained colt. Steve Klesaris' Truly Yours has shaped with promise and looks the danger while Trippin Up can be given a chance.
Be A General is a consistent sort who looks sure to be in the firing line whilst Rich Cat, Fire Man, Numerous Gifts and Derby all make the short-list too. A tentative vote goes the way of WALLY WORLD who ran well enough in this grade last time to suggest that he has another race in him.
A cracking heat with the entire field coming into the race in sparkling form and none more so than LUCNDASKYWITDIMNDS who has won her last three starts. She's taken to climb another rung up the ladder but Run Aurora Run, Pinki Dinki Do and Fortunate Slew should all give her plenty to think about.
Barring the improvement of one of today's rivals, which is by no means out of the question, this can go the way of ESPINDOLA, who followed her debut win with a more impressive victory in a decent heat at Penn National in October. Driven by Winning and the rapidly improving Willow Grove are others of note.
Nautical Agent was well held last time but should be a player in this company but preference is for ELVA'S ROSE who got going too late over six here last time but she should have plenty of time to find top gear now that she steps up to a route. Grazie Signorie and Moonlight Watch are others to enter calculations.
