DOWN RANGE produced a gallant effort in defeat when finishing second around this track and trip last month and is given the vote to go one better tonight. Prize Moment won in gritty fashion here on his latest outing and rates the biggest threat, while Lower Estate is another worthy of consideration.
VERY LOCAL looks the pick of these having been beaten less than 2l when finishing fifth last time. He gets the vote with the main danger appearing to be recent runner-up Bearslittlewhisper who has shaped really well on her three starts to date. Blast Dem Noble was well held last time but could figure if back on song.
JOANNIE NOT JO performed with a great deal of credit when finishing second around here last month and, with much less on his plate this evening, he could prove a cut above these. Streaterville finished an honourable second here on his latest outing and is likely to give a good account in this, while Doinwhatido is another that warrants respect.
PILAR made a promising debut effort when finishing second around here last month and, with further improvement on the cards, she could take all the beating tonight. East Allie faces her easiest task of late and could give the selection most to think about, with True Jean also holding place claims.
In an open-looking contest, TETHRA'S RIPPER stands out on the back of a string of solid displays she has produced of late. Recent winner Judgment Day makes obvious appeal and looks sure to prove a big threat along with Gilded Life and Alkinoos.
STUCK IN TRAFFIC finished with a wet sail when landing the spoils around here last month and, with this step up in trip likely to suit, he is hard to oppose. Grazettes Landing was behind the selection that day and may have to play second fiddle again, while Lady's First Cat is another that cannot be easily dismissed.
Crafty Breeze gave the impression he would be suited by stepping up to tonight's distance when finishing second around here last time while Desert Catillac appeals on the back of his two promising efforts to date. Preference, however, is for CHARMING COUNTRY who has been mixing it in stronger company than this of late and looks to have been found a winning opportunity here.
SEASIDE LINKS stayed on strongly when winning cosily around here last month and, with this step up in trip not a concern, he looks like the one that they all have to beat tonight. Charging Hero won readily here on his latest outing and is unlikely to go down without a fight, while Sierra Cat is another for the short-list.
If forgiven for a below par effort last time, WOOKIN TO RUN has the form to take this and is given the vote to return to his best. Money Trail, a runner-up here last time, and Tree Rings appeal most of the remainder and are worth considering for any combination bets.
ASTERA didn't appear to get home when finishing fourth over 7f here in October and looks sure to mount a bold bid now dropped in trip. Etain is taking a significant drop in grade and it would be no surprise to see her involved in the shake-up tonight. Dewamere looks next best.
