Tricky opener. GREENLIGHT GATSBY will have more to offer after a pleasing comeback run so should have a role to play. ZARATOS has improved recently but lacked extra late over further, so this trip could suit. COMBAT CAPTAIN has the form to be competitive. ITALIAN WAY looks ready to leave the maiden ranks but has the widest draw. GALWAY and OCEAN HEIGHTS are others to consider.

He won a similar contest over the course and distance on his handicap debut, so could be worth another chance reverting to the Poly.
