LORD MARSHAL has not won for some time but has run some fair races and could contest the finish once again. Trainer Alan Greeff looks to have a very strong hand in the race with ETERNAL LIGHT and ANGKOR. ETERNAL LIGHT has not been beaten too far in her Western Cape runs and makes her local debut. ANGKOR is improving and was a bit unlucky in her latest start. ELEGANT EVA did not show much on her local debut on the Polytrack but could improve on the turf. So could GINGER ROCK.

A tough race to find the winner. GITANO TONIGHT is a bit unreliable but is not out of it. KAZURI is consistent and must be given some respect. ANGEL OF ATHENS is capable of much better than what she showed on her local debut and could win this race. JOKING DICE returns from a break and does have a winning chance. BOLDNESS and STAR REVOLUTION are two others with a chance.
