Not the strongest of maiden hurdles to get things under way and it looks a good opportunity for CROWN PLEASURE. She found little off the bridle after travelling well when third at Tramore last month, but this looks easier and a subsequent victory on the level confirms her well-being. Mouskersize was well back in eighth in that Flat contest but showed some promise when fourth over timber at Kilbeggan previously. She is respected along with hurdling debutant Tetraites, who is rated higher than the selection on the Flat.

After showing ability in a couple of bumpers, DYLROW was soundly beaten into third on his hurdling bow over 2m here at the Festival but that form is working out very well, with the first, second and fourth all scoring since. With less on his plate and that experience under his belt, he is preferred to Runyon Rattler, a bumper winner who has shown signs of promise in a couple of 2m hurdles at Sligo and should appreciate this step up in trip. Diva Dawn has been placed over 2m1f and 3m, and 2m4f may suit.

A tricky puzzle for punters to solve, but there is plenty to like about the chances of HARD FOUGHT. He relished the step up to this distance when making all in style in a Cork maiden and has scope for more improvement over this trip, so could be on for a double if allowed to dictate matters again. There is no shortage of dangers including Holeinthewall Bar, who finished a good fourth off this mark over C&D at the Festival prior to a disappointing spin over fences. Xaarcet switches back to hurdles after a victory over the larger obstacles at Perth and is potentially well treated in this sphere, while Fairy Court must be considered after two good runner-up finishes.

There should be no need to look beyond BACHASSON. A facile winner of both starts since joining Willie Mullins from France, including at the Festival here, he is as short as 7/1 for the Supreme Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham in March and looks yet another top-class prospect for his powerful handler. Little Haarth landed his maiden in good style from a couple of subsequent winners and could be set for the silver medal, although Rocky Court and The Mulcare Rover also arrive on the back of maiden victories and the latter should come on for that debut effort.

Glendine River is a progressive mare and was beaten a little over three lengths when second at Tramore last month. She sets the form standard along with Tramore third Concience, but the bar isn't too high and this could be a good opening for SCREAMING ROSE on debut.
