French import ORZARE scored more easily than the winning distance suggests when coming home over 2m 1f at Newbury on his UK debut. He can follow up. After winning at Warwick on his hurdling bow, Causeway King has finished second twice but looks to have something to find with the selection while Diktalina (engaged to run at Sandown yesterday) scored with ease in a 2m 2f Folkestone maiden hurdle but has more on her plate today.
In the likely absence of Sandown scorer Diktalina, this looks a good opportunity for Orzare, who made a winning start over hurdles on heavy ground at Newbury and should relish the conditions. This longer trip should suit the consistent Causeway King, while recent Chepstow winner Extreme Impact is capable of better again.

Ryde Back is on a hat-trick and scored with ease last time at Huntingdon and has sound claims but might find one too good in VINO GRIEGO, not disgraced in a Grade 2 hurdle at Sandown two starts ago and a facile winner at Wincanton last time.
Vino Griego and Ryde Back look the pair to concentrate on here. The latter could be open to plenty of improvement but Vino Griego has useful form on the board already and will be tough to beat. Bangkok Pete could fare best of the remainder.

Plenty in with chances here but a narrow vote goes to OMME ANTIQUE, who was a close second over 2m 4f at Plumpton last month. He was closing all the time on the winner that day and the extra two furlongs now should be in his favour. Hobbs Dream was a game winner over 3m 2f at Plumpton but has another 4lb to carry and might not be suited by this drop in trip. Kappelhof, Kinkeel and No More Punts shouldn't be too far away.
Neither Killfinnan Castle nor Kappelhoff are any great shakes in the jumping department, but both are weighted to take a hand granted a clear round. Hobb's Dream has upped her game since switched to fences and could figure again.

STONEY'S TREASURE tackles handicap company for the first time but looks reasonably treated following two good novice hurdle success at Lingfield and Plumpton. There should be plenty more to come after just four starts and he looks the one to be on. Sebastiano, second in each of his last two starts, is in fine form but is rising in the weights and Plumpton winner Near The Water, a decent second here last time, looks a safer bet for the forecast.
Quite a competitive event, but the Alan King-trained Stoney's Treasure is a potential blot on the handicap and can maintain his unbeaten record over hurdles. Near The Water was a good second over C&D last time and should go well again, while Sebastiano is another who comes here very much at the top of his game.

Brushford scored first time out over fences when successful over 2m 2f here but has plenty on his plate with another 8lb to carry today. Ballymorn is more reasonably treated after his 2m 1f Towcester win carrying another 5lb but preference is for WADSWICK BEN, a progressive chaser who was second over 2m 5f at Folkestone last month. He was twice impeded in that race and with a clear round today, could take all the beating.
Lord Gunnerslake ran a promising first race for Tim Vaughan earlier in the week and may be able to overcome being 5 lb out of the weights providing that didn't take too much out of him. Silver Dollars is potentially well handicapped and is another who may show the benefit of a trainer change, while recent winner Ballymorn is another to bear in mind.

Back up in trip, he could take all the beating. Montana Gold just failed over C&D last time but that was in a chase and he looks to have plenty of weight on his best hurdling form. Saddlers Mot has been knocking on the door and should be thereabouts again.

J'ADHERE was a very cosy winner over 2m 2f at Folkestone on his debut and although he has to give weight all round today, he looks capable of following up. The newcomer, Management, looks a nice sort on paper and could pose the biggest threat while Poppy Come Running, a well-held third at Southwell last month but taking a big drop in class today, cannot be ruled out.
Poppy Come Running was unlucky on her debut and, having travelled sweetly for much of the way last time, could now click over this shorter trip. Newcomer Management hails from a top yard and has to be considered on his debut, while J'Adhere can't be ruled out despite his penalty.
