STRAVITA improved on her previous hurdles form to finish runner-up to Little Roxy over 2m at Plumpton earlier this week and a reproduction of that effort would probably make her the one to beat this afternoon. True Blue Saga has been struggling of late but he has dropped in the handicap as a result and he should not be left out of calculations. Brigadore is not the most consistent but he has claims if putting his best foot forward.
Stravita responded well to blinkers when runner-up for her inexperienced rider at Plumpton earlier in the week and looks the pick at the weights. C&D winners Brilliant and Nous Voila are others to consider.

This looks like a perfect opportunity for PROMISING ANSHAN to break his duck over fences. He found only Cornish Sett too good at Wincanton last month and that form gives him outstanding claims today. Springfield Raki was far from disgraced behind Quantativeeasing at Market Rasen last time, even though he finished last of three, and he could be the one for the forecast. Nodforms Paula has some useful form over hurdles and he is the only other with realistic claims.
This really ought to go to Promising Anshan. Springfield Raki looks the best bet for the forecast.

UNCLE KEEF is a tricky customer but he certainly has ability and, if Nicky Henderson can find the key to him, he can make a big impact on his first foray into handicap company off a mark of 97 here. Duneen Point has shown plenty of promise in his four runs over hurdles to date and he certainly merits consideration on his handicap debut. Balustrade has been raised 7lb for his Fontwell success last month but that might not prevent another big run from him.
Wistow has not been harshly dealt with by the handicapper and looks worth siding with, though Flying Squad did well over fences in January, including when successful here, and could bounce back from a couple of lesser efforts now returned to hurdles.

Madame Allsorts won well over 2m2f at Folkestone last month and she sets the standard but defying a penalty in these events is never easy and she might have her work cut out to concede 16lb to TANTE SISSI. Alan King's filly was a beaten favourite on her British debut at Newbury but she shaped nicely nonetheless and can score today. Tye Park and Miss Hippy are also respected, along with interesting newcomers Calcot Rose and Doyen Diva.
Tante Sissi will be popular but may offer little value, and it could pay to oppose her with Miss Hippy, whose Ffos Las form has been franked. Calcot Rose shouldn't just be looked upon as Alan King's second string and also needs bearing in mind.
