PARLIAMENT SQUARE is likely to be sent off at very cramped odds again but appears the most likely winner. Aidan O'Brien's charge was a creditable fifth in the Listed Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot last month and although he was turned over at short odds over this trip at Naas on Wednesday night, he is given a chance to gain compensation in a race lacking strength in depth. Monakova is entitled to build upon a moderate debut effort at the Curragh but of more interest is newcomer More Questions, a son of Moss Vale that is bred to handle the conditions.
Parliament Square was a real let down at Naas, but his effort in the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot on his penultimate start was solid form. If first-time cheekpieces have the desired effect he should prove much too good for these rivals, assuming none of the newcomers are above average. Perhaps More Questions will follow him home, with Monakova best of the rest.

Arctic (second) and Gordon Lord Byron (third) ran well in the Paddy Power Sprint at the Curragh on Derby day and are respected but marginal preference is for SLADE POWER, who continues on an upward curve for Edward Lynam this year and, although unproven on ground this slow, arrives here on the back of a Listed victory at Haydock when last sighted. After hasn't looked out of place in Grade 3 company the last twice and looks the main danger now her sights have been lowered.
Arctic arrives here in good heart and is taken to see off the up-and-coming Slade Power and After, who is much the best of the trio of fillies in this line-up.

Olfa has acquitted herself well on all three 7f runs this year and is interesting now dropped back in trip as she won over 5f at Tipperary last August and appears to have the speed needed to make her presence felt. Bubbly Bellini is another versatile type and although he was denied a four-timer off 1lb higher at the Curragh, he will relish slow ground and is no forlorn hope for a place. Preferred ahead of both is recent Navan runner-up FOOTPRINT, who was unlucky to bump into a progressive one in Arctic (engaged earlier on today's card) that day and faces nothing of that calibre in opposition here.
Olfa and the reliable Footprint are both high on the list, but that duo may be thwarted by the progressive filly Faleena who may not have finished improving yet.

REGAL POWER has improved with each of his three runs over 6f this year but has ultimately been outpaced. His dam is from the same family as a 7f winner and now tackling this longer trip for the first time, Edward Lynam's gelding is taken to open his account. Encrypted Message has shown ability in two 1m2f runs on heavy ground and is respected, although whether this trip may be on the sharp side remains to be seen. Unanimous won't be fazed by the testing ground and is also entitled to be thereabouts.
Unanimous is very tempting back over what appears to be his optimum trip and with the ground in his favour. However, Regal Power is going the right way and, likely to represent a value alternative to Unanimous and Encrypted Message who is opposable down in trip, earns the vote. Indiana Charmer is a feasible each-way option at likely double-figure odds.

BLUE CORNER, a Teofilo colt that changed hands for 135,000gns as a foal, made a return on investment when scoring over this trip in a good ground maiden at the Curragh in May, leaving a very nice impression after stretching out well to record a five length victory. Slower ground is very much an unknown this afternoon but if it proves no obstacle he's taken to notch a double. Warwick Avenue has a bit to find on these terms but, like Amira's Prince, has winning form on a slow surface. Taameer is fitted with first-time blinkers and is best watched.
Amira's Prince boasts by far the strongest form credentials, and will take plenty of beating down in grade here. However, Blue Corner created such a good impression when making a winning debut at the Curragh and, with improvement very much on the cards, looks the one to be on.

First Friday benefitted from an enterprising ride when scoring over 1m4f at Cork last month and could try make this a real test now dropped back in trip off a 6lb higher mark. Curl Cat has been knocking hard on the door lately and is also expected to be thereabouts now stepped up from 7f, but preferred ahead of both is Tony Martin's RAYDARI, who has the assistance of Johnny Murtagh in the plate and holds a hurdles entry next week, presumably in an attempt to strike in both spheres while the iron is hot.
