Sir Frank displayed a great attitude when striking over 3m at Exeter and he should play a leading role if arriving in the same mood, but FIX IT RIGHT will prove difficult to beat in receipt of 7lb. Emma Lavelle's charge showed a liking for this track when landing a C&D class 4 handicap last time (Any Given Moment second) and a 6lb rise is fair punishment. Midnight Oscar also boasts winning track and trip form and he warrants respect back over hurdles after failing to complete his last couple of chase assignments.

Top Tip: Fix It Right (7)
Watch out for: Sir Frank (1)

Fix It Right had a bit up his sleeve (idled in front) when defeating the reopposing Any Given Moment over C&D last month and can defy a 6 lb rise. Presence Felt was disappointing last time but his Warwick form looks strong and he's worth another chance.

Kim Bailey saddled the winner of this contest 12 months ago and he appears to have another cracking chance with SILVER EAGLE this time around. The grey son of Presenting comes out top on official ratings (134) and he will prove extremely difficult to beat if recapturing the form of his Cheltenham second in October. Drop Out Joe steps up in trip and warrants plenty of respect representing a Charlie Longsdon stable that has been firing out the winners of late, but Warden Hill is slightly better treated at these weights and he rates the bigger threat.

Top Tip: Silver Eagle (2)
Watch out for: Warden Hill (5)

Warden Hill didn't really have things go his way in a Cheltenham handicap last time and is taken to resume winning ways here with the step up to 3m expected to be right up his street. Silver Eagle has to give the selection 6 lb but still looks the obvious main danger.

The seven-year-old has done extremely well as a bumper and hurdles performer (clocking up four wins) and the feeling has always been that he would be even better when faced with a fence. The obvious danger appears to be Ludlow scorer Princely Player, but he has yet to fully convince in the jumping department and faces a difficult task conceding 7lb to the selection. Nicky Henderson's Woodbank could beat point-to-point scorer Dreamy George into third spot.

An extremely competitive handicap, which could go the way of EMPIRE LEVANT. Runner-up to Rock On Ruby in the Gerry Feilden just over two years ago, he is a very useful performer on his day and having run well fresh in the past, he is fancied to play a leading role on his first outing since April. Robbie is 9lb higher than when scoring on this card last season but two recent chase victories will ensure that he arrives full of confidence and another bold bid beckons, while Purple Bay, Ranjaan and Franciscan add further spice to the event.

ROYAL IRISH HUSSAR hasn't put a foot wrong over hurdles and, currently disputing favouritism for the Triumph Hurdle, it will be disappointing if he doesn't make it four from four. Fox Norton was only a neck behind the selection on his UK debut at Market Rasen in September and although meeting on 8lb better terms gives him a chance of reversing placings, the way Nicky Henderson's colt has since progressed makes it a big ask. Broughton is the unknown quantity on his NH debut after being rated as high as 92 on the Flat.

A significant drop in class for NADIYA DE LA VEGA should make her extremely difficult to beat. Granted she was a shade disappointing when finishing down the field on her seasonal reappearance in the Paddy Power Gold Cup last month, but this represents a much easier assignment and a repeat of her fifth in a valuable handicap at the Punchestown Festival previous to that would see her bang there. Off The Ground rates the biggest threat, even though he is 15lb higher than when recording a runaway C&D success latest, ahead of another track and trip winner in Kings Grey.
