Verdict

Plenty in with chances here but preference is for GIMMEASTAR, who was second behind Time N Expense over C&D in January but has since hit much better form, winning an $8k claimer over this trip at Sam Houston three starts ago and finishing second in better company next time. Baby Reese, who has been running in better company, could prove the danger.

Verdict

This should go the way of CADDO NATIVE, winner of a $40k allowance race over the extended 6f here last time. This is easier and he should take all the beating. The progressive Dial Kyle, chasing a hat-trick, looks the danger while Pecks Top Cat might not be too far away.

Verdict

Count De Cashonly went down by a short-head over 1m here latest but drops in trip and steps up in class here, so preference is for WAR TACTICS. The selection was narrowly beaten by the former last time out but shaped as tough he will relish a return to sprinting and has more scope for improvement after only three starts. ACTING FRENCH has looked one paced over 6 1/2f recently so this extra yardage could be just what is required for her to get back into the winner's enclosure. MY INCA PRINCESS won with plenty in hand over track and trip last time she will prove a tough nut to crack if in the same mood tonight. Sweet Lexi won't be inconvenienced by dropping back from 7f and looks an obvious danger, along with Strawberry Ball and Moonstruck Bertie.
