Winner of six of his 31 starts and currently rated 91. Gained his sole success of last season when beating Dakota Gold by a length and a half at York (6f) in May off a mark of 91. Subsequently finished ninth, beaten four and three quarter lengths, to Ferrous in a valuable 6f sprint handicap at Newcastle last Sunday.

Trainer says

He has been a star for the last few years, and he is very much ground dependent. This spring we have had unseasonably warm weather, and he ran on the all-weather at Newcastle on Sunday. He was busting for a run and wasn’t beaten too far. The ground was riding a bit slower, which helped, and one of those big sprint handicaps will come his way when he has conditions to suit.

Trainer says

He had a cracking winter on the all-weather and we think he is more the finished article now. He ran a great race to finish third on Finals Day and he is a strong traveller with a good turn of foot. Ultimately, he could be one for something like the Buckingham Palace at Royal Ascot.

He matured well over the winter and was an absolute star picking up one of the bonuses. He will have to prove he can transfer that to the turf.

He knows all about the game and he has been a grand servant. He obviously enjoys York and will probably go there this week. He is back down to his last winning mark, and he is a horse that takes a run or two and he goes there fit and well. He should be picking up his races this season.

He is on a bit of a losing run, but he has been running into a bit of form, and I think if he can just get his head in front he is down to a dangerous mark. Hopefully we can have a bit of fun with him, but he needs to get his head in front and that may give him a bit of confidence.

He is a another who had a very good season on the all-weather and is continuing from some good runs over the last nine months. He will probably go to York for the Jorvik race, and he is effective from a mile-two to a mile-four. He is in good form and has race-fitness on his side. Hopefully we can look at those big middle-distance handicaps with him through the season.

He is a new recruit to the yard, and we are learning all about him. He had some good form on the continent, and we thought he ran a cracking race in the Palace House in a race that was a bit muddling. He has an entry in the Greenlands, and he looks like a horse who is up to winning in Pattern company, so hopefully he can pick up a big one through the season.

His two placed Guineas effort show you he is a very classy horse. We lowered his sights at Thirsk, and he ran a really cracking race. That was his first race of the season, and hopefully that can provide a bit of a confidence boost, and we can find a big race with him.

Winner of three of his seven starts and currently rated 116. Landed his most prestigious success last season in the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot (6f) in June when beating Lake Forest by two and a quarter lengths.

Trainer says

He was absolutely electric at Haydock and Ascot last year, having had a lot of racing thrown at him in a short space of time. He is still a young horse, who went from a novice to a Guineas to a Group 1 sprint. He didn’t run too badly at Newmarket, as he didn’t quite handle coming down the hill, and then the ground at Haydock was very tacky - there were legitimate excuses for his runs, but he is a lot more mature now. He has done well physically and goes for the Duke Of York, and then for horses like him his season is very much mapped out for him.

He is another that has done fantastically well for us over the years, and he is strong traveller who likes to come off the pace. He likes to hear his hooves rattle, and with his course form at York we will be looking for races for him there, but he isn't a one trick pony. He is another on a very workable mark.

Trainer says

It was great to see him get his head in front at Musselburgh, and I thought he ran well when stepped up in grade again there later in April. He probably paid for it a bit next time out at Thirsk, where it really was a breakneck pace and he was stuck out on the wing. He is a very quick horse who has five furlongs written all over him, and I think he is still on a mark where we can have a bit of fun with him.

He was another to make giant strides last year and Oisin Murphy was very happy with him at Leicester, where he thought he travelled very well but the ground was just too quick for him. He stepped up on that effort at Newcastle on Sunday and he will be aimed at the big sprint handicaps, though he probably needs anything but quick ground.

He is another who did well for us last season and we were dying to step him up to six furlongs, which we did at Newmarket last month. It was quite soft that day and he is a big horse who was having his first run off the season. It probably caught him out a bit on that ground, but I wouldn’t rule out going over six again with him. He has an entry over five furlongs at York on Thursday, where he has good course form.

He absolutely flew last year when dropped in trip. He didn’t quite handle Pontefract on quick ground, but I think he is a very quick horse, and we will only go where the ground suits.

He was a bit of a slow-burner and a bit weak as a two-year-old. He was still maturing last year but was super impressive at Ascot on his final start. He started to show what we always thought of him, and this season will hopefully see him step up in grade.

He has been a fantastic horse for Hambleton Racing and a very good syndicate horse. He won the Abernant last year and just seemed to get quicker and quicker. I was delighted with his run in the Palace House, but I think he is probably between the two trips. He probably wants a nice, galloping five furlongs, and hopefully he will give his owners a nice Group prize.

He is another who has a fantastic all-weather season and ended up with a Finals Day win. He is a horse we have always liked and gelding him made a man of him. He is really switched on, has a great attitude and is off 98, so ultimately he will be in those big sprints. Something like the Wokingham will be his bag.

He is a horse we have always liked, and it probably tool him a bit of time to learn to race correctly last season. He came back with a win at Thirsk where he won pretty comfortably. Something like the Palace Of Holyrood House at Royal Ascot would be his big target.

He was a Royal Ascot winner last year and wasn’t disgraced in the Flying Childers either. We were looking forward to running him over six furlongs and the Pavilion Stakes provided a perfect opportunity. I thought he ran a terrific race - he had to do his work on a wing. It was his first run of the season, and he will improve for that. He will go straight for the Commonwealth Cup.

He was very unlucky last year and finished runner-up on three occasions. He returned with a nice win at Ripon and stepped up on that again when second at Newmarket. He showed a really good attitude, and he would be one for those decent three-year-old sprint handicaps.

We always thought he was better than his mark and he proved that on the all-weather. He really thrived and matured and strengthened up, but he has to transfer that to the turf, though I don’t think that will be any problem at all. He will be freshened up and we will find the right race for him.

He is another one who was very immature last year. He is a big stamp of a horse, and we have been delighted with his two runs this season so far. It was good to see him get off the mark at Beverley, though he probably got away with that a bit as the ground that day was quite quick. He probably wants a little bit of juice in the ground and a step up to a mile will suit. You probably won’t see the best of him until next year.

He has been a touch unlucky and is a winner waiting to happen. He will be winning sooner rather than later, and once he gets his head in front he could well win more.

Trainer says

He was an expensive Breeze-Up purchase, and he bumped into some smart horses as a two-year-old. The break has done him the world of good, and he was pretty impressive at Chester the other day. We will have to see what the handicapper does with him, but he isn't short of speed, and if he can still get into it, then the Palace Of Holyrood House would be the race for him. If not, we may have to go for an even higher grade, but he is a very talented horse. I am very excited about him.

From day one we said he was a three-year-old through and through, but he did show promise last term. He has run two good races this season and was up against a well-handicapped rival at Ripon on Friday night. He should get his head in front soon.

He has been a shade unlucky not to get his head in front and has put up two fine efforts this season. I think he is better than his mark, and if he can just get his head in front then he can find other races afterwards.

I was very happy with her run at Nottingham, where she just didn’t handle the track, and then she put up another good effort at Kempton the other day. I think she is a very genuine filly, and there will be plenty more races for her.

He had a good season last year, and he was probably a little bit keen and gassy over seven and a half at Beverley on his reappearance. He still ran a cracking race and has definitely trained on, so there are races to be won with him. We will try and keep him to the bare seven furlongs at the minute. There will be plenty of races in him this season.

He was an immature two-year-old and took a bit of time, but he managed to get off the mark at Southwell during Cheltenham week. I don’t know if it was the track or what last time out but it is a bit of a head-scratcher, though he is on or around his mark ballpark-wise. We have to find out the reason for his last run, and then we will get him on a more-conventional track and go from there.

He got a bit of a fright in the stalls at Thirsk, which was his first day at school (subsequently withdrawn). He is grand though, and we will go to Beverley with him this week. He is a very straightforward two-year-old.

She made really good debut at Beverley, where she was very keen early doors. She then travelled nicely and finished her race off nicely too. The form of that race is very strong, and she should take a big step forward from that performance.

She is another who ran very green the other day at Thirsk. She knuckled down when the winner had already flown, but she will improve for the run and will get an extra furlong in time. She should take a big step forward for the experience.

Trainer says

We were delighted with his debut win, and he has always been a horse who has been very professional at home. He went through the prelims and the race as if he had three or four runs under his belt, travelling well, quickening up and finishing the race off very strongly. He is a horse who will probably get six furlongs at some point, but there would be no rush to do so. We will discuss where to go next with Simon Turner of Hambleton Racing, but there is a race back at Beverley that would be an option for him.
