Doc Hay is the unexposed one here and market support would look ominous, but there's no reason to desert course specialist Forever's Girl. Rainy Night is another to consider.
Another race likely to be dominated by the mounts of Paul Hanagan and Richard Hughes. The former was beaten by the narrowest of margins on Strictly Pink at Kempton last week and can go one better at the expense of Magic Stella.
The Happy Hammer has been banging on the door in handicaps lately and has every chance of ending his frustrating sequence. Cape Kimberley could find this trip ideal and looks dangerous, while Buxton will come into the reckoning if the gallop is a strong one.
Mattoral and Copper Canyon set a good standard, but the well-bred Lovers Peace catches the eye starting out with Paul Hanagan on board and she narrowly gets the verdict for an in-form yard which has saddled winners on both the Flat and over jumps this week.
Veiled Applause is in the form of his life at present and is hard to oppose back at a track where he's tasted success before. Audemar holds good claims if building on the promise of his first run in 3 months here last time, while Akhmatova can finish placed once more.
Imagination is difficult to get away from following her promising second on a similar surface at Dundalk recently and this longer trip should see her in an even better light based on her pedigree. Mongoose Alert and newcomer Secret Era could offer the most resistance.
