FINE THREADS made a pleasing debut at Warwick last month and she is sure to improve with that initial experience under her belt so is fancied to get off the mark this afternoon. The Johnston-trained duo, Coax and Jeu De Vivre both showed ability first time out and, with improvement likely, command respect. Alan Swinbank's newcomer, Honest Deal, makes some appeal and he should be monitored closely in the market.
Fine Threads made a most encouraging debut at Warwick and has been found an excellent opportunity to get off the mark. Mark Johnston's duo of Jeu de Vivre and Coax could give her most to do.

Karate has solid claims on the form of his Windsor second earlier this month and merits consideration along with Cootehill Lass who showed more at Redcar last time and makes her handicap debut today.
Hernando Torres was unlucky on his nursery debut at Nottingham and a 4 lb rise shouldn't be enough to stop him gaining compensation. Bertiewhittle and Karate look the main dangers.

BENATO THE GREAT might not have achieved much when making a winning debut at Redcar but he did win with a good bit in hand and an initial handicap mark of 65 might be an underestimation of his ability. Lake Chini comes into this in good form and there is every reason to expect another big run from him while testing ground suits Durham Express well he could figure if bouncing back to form.
This is only Benny The Bear's sixth start and he left the impression on his recent debut for Linda Perratt that he's ready to win. Benato The Great looks a big threat having recently won a maiden for Richard Guest on his belated first outing, and Music Festival is another to consider in a trappy affair.

Hong Kong Island and Pertemps Networks both come into this in good form and they should be on the premises along with Bollin Judith who is capable of a little better than she showed at Pontefract last time.
Pertemps Networks went within a whisker of completing a hat-trick at York last time and is sure to go well if staying the longer trip. Lady Bluesky, last year's winner Sphinx, and Royal Swain are others to consider in what looks a conpetitive affair.

SHY GLANCE has hardly been firing on all cylinders of late but he did show a little more here last week and is very attractively handicapped. He can play a leading role today if putting his best foot forward. Laura's Lady has a lengthy lay-off to overcome but she is unexposed and could get involved on her return to action if at the top of her game with Botham rating as another likely contender.
Jim Goldie could enjoy a 1-2 here, with Botham just getting the vote over Ulysees. Catcher of Dreams is another to consider.
