Hardy Blue knows how to win and two of her four successes have come over this C&D so she is accorded the utmost respect. Coconut Kisses, Stripped Bear and Chloe's Dream are also considered while Bamurru should not be totally overlooked.

MISS DAHSWOOD is on an upward curve and a 3lb rise for her win here earlier this month might not be enough to prevent another big run from her this evening. Sigurwana got off the mark in a Newcastle maiden last month and she merits consideration back in handicap company tonight. Amba is on a hat-trick but she is now 11lb higher than when recording the first leg of her double. Junior Diary and Silvas Romana both make the shortlist.

Jullundar has been knocking on the door and he should find an opening before too long. Unison has shown some promise and he should also be winning races in due course. Spieta, Moaning Butcher and Hidden Link are likely to fare better when tackling handicap company so it could pay to take a chance on GIOIA DI VITA. Marco Botti's newcomer makes plenty of appeal on paper and market confidence behind him would be a big positive.

Watch out for: Jullundar (6)

Zenafire has shaped with promise on both of his runs to date and he could be in the shake-up here. Last Supper has shown little on her last two outings but her best form would give her a big chance and she is respected along with Green Mitas. Major Buckley is an interesting newcomer but so is HAFTOHAF. He is related to a number of winners and certainly makes plenty of appeal on debut.
