TAMARKUZ showed improvement upon his debut fourth at Newmarket to land second at Warwick latest and sets the form standard for the others to aim at based on those two 7f efforts. Pairumani Prince was outpaced over 5f at Lingfield on debut and looks a possible danger now tackling this longer trip, although the biggest threat may turn out to be the Jeremy Noseda-trained newcomer Infinite Magic, for whom any market support should be noted.

SUBTLE KNIFE has continued to progress all year and landed her third victory of the season when striking over this trip at Kempton latest. Giles Bravery's charge is 5lb higher today but her style of running means it is hard for the assessor to truly get a grip on her and there may still be more to come. Fellow three-year-old Alkadi may appreciate this drop in trip on the back of her 1m Kempton second and has place claims along with Lady Layla, who has placed over C&D the last twice, and Supreme Spirit, who hinted she'd be worth another try at 7f after staying on for second over shorter at Ffos Las latest.
