Royal Box looks handicapped to get competitive and there were plenty of positives to take from his Bath run when beaten just a length off a 2lb higher mark last week. Memphis Man and Collectable are others to take seriously but the vote goes to LOYAL N TRUSTED. He has come back down the same mark as when successful at Wolverhampton in April and looked on the verge of capitalising when third at Warwick last month.

LAKOTA GHOST reverts to the level having flopped in two hurdle starts at Southwell and Stratford earlier this year and, fresh from a break, the four-year-old is taken to exploit his current Flat mark. He finished a creditable runner-up off the same perch at Wolverhampton when last sighted in this sphere in February and there is every chance he'll be ridden close to the pace coming back to 1m4f. Eightfold and Tijori are in good form and look solid alternatives to the selection.
