As that was a conditional jockeys' race, he escapes a penalty here and should take all the beating. Silver Stirrup was well beaten at Folkestone latest but has shown himself capable of better and could be the one for the forecast. Chances might also be given to Easydoesit and Sendinpost.
Terra Bleu took a big step forward on his recent debut for Brendan Powell, and is very hard to oppose without a penalty for that win. Sendinpost isn't dismissed despite a lengthy absence, whilst Easydoesit has place claims if seeing out this longer trip.

In a wide-open affair, it might pay to side with the progressive SPIRIT OF BARBADOS. A winner at Worcester three starts ago, he just missed out at Taunton earlier this month. He's up 5lb now but there should be more to come. The danger looks to be recent Fakenham winner Abnaki, who could be capable of defying a 6lb rise in the weights but chances might also be given to Areuwitmenow and Bruslini.
With stamina doubts about Spirit of Barbados, this can go to Bruslini who has made a promising start for Evan Williams and has the assistance of headgear now. Abnaki seems unlikely to be far away again, whilst Kingsmere remains with some potential.

After winning his first three outings over timber, MUSH MIR found the step up in class and trip at Ascot too much for him and he could only trail in a distant third. Back over a winning trip and down in grade now, he should take all the beating. Great Reason hasn't been out since January, when third on his chasing debut, but poses a real threat on his best hurdling form, while Jetnova can't be ruled out.
None of these are completely solid, but Great Reason is the safest option with McCoy choosing him over the yard's superior hurdler Mush Mir. Jetnova was the best of these over hurdles and can give the selection most to do.

In an open affair, it could pay to stick with TRIGGER THE LIGHT, a winner over 3m5f here earlier this month, ending a long losing spell. The drop in trip shouldn't pose a problem and although he's up 4lb now, he's run well off higher marks in the past. Samurai Way is well treated on his winning chase form but he hasn't seen a racecourse for 19 months, while Satou just got home at Sandown and may struggle off this mark.
Glens Boy is very likely to have come on for his recent chasing bow/reappearance, but he's only 6 lb better off for 16 lengths with Inga Bird and that similarly unexposed rival is expected to confirm the form. Satou looks the most interesting of the rest.

This could go the way of NORTH STACK, a slightly disappointing sort over hurdles but very progressive over fences. He just missed out at Uttoxeter latest and a 4lb rise in the weights should not stop him breaking his duck. Junior Jack had shown plenty of promise on his chasing debut at Towcester before unseating his rider at the fifth. He could prove the danger here but The Boss might not be too far away.
This looks between North Stack and Junior Jack, with preference for the relatively unexposed first named. Point winner Ballyoliver looks a real chasing type and he could well up his game now that he's faced with fences for the first time under Rules.

The progressive KAFFIE looks the one to be on here. Third on her hurdling debut, she ran out a comfortable winner in bottomless ground at Exeter this month. She has to give weight to all these rivals but looks open to further improvement and should take all the beating. La Belle Sauvage has shown plenty of ability in bumpers and could go well first time over timber, while Grassfinch has shown ability and might not be too far away.
Kaffie has taken well to hurdles and looks up to defying a penalty in this company. Recent Towcester bumper second La Belle Sauvage looks sure to make an impact now hurdling up in trip, while Grassfinch achieved enough at Fontwell to suggest she won't be too far away either.

SWING BOWLER knocked over the opposition on debut when landing a Wincanton bumper in May last year and, assuming all is well now returning from a 234-day absence, she rates the one to beat this afternoon. Foundation Man is worth monitoring in the market ahead of his racecourse bow as he is a son of Presenting and fetched 130,000 euros at the sales last year. Overdraught and Whispering Bob are others to be considered.
Swing Bowler is undoubtedly open to improvement, but her debut success did come in a weak affair and she might be worth opposing with Foundation Man and Overdraught, who both make plenty of appeal on paper, though the market is sure to reveal more with such a high percentage of the field newcomers.
