Hardy element under the saddle and appreciates Vincennes. Opened his harness account last month and, if form transitions, should not be far from the action

Winner of three from four before being sent for his winter break, EDELWEISS PAULCA (11) is barefoot for the occasion and expected to take all the beating. Damien Bonne will still be keeping an eye on the tricky, but very capable, GOOD GIRL MARCEAUX (13) who has hind shoes off for her return to Paris, and EQUEJUELO (9) who returns to the discipline with David Thomain in the irons. FAST CASH (2) boasts a good monte record here and, racing barefoot this time will do his prospects no disservice.
Returned to winning ways in the provinces last time out. Unlikely to repeat but will still generate some interest

A thrilling edition of this year's race in prospect, with a number in contention. A small priority nevertheless goes to JACKPOT DE VIETTE (3) whose recent Enghien disappointment was due to traffic problems. He looks marginally better than the similarly well-positioned JUMBO DE JA YO (4) who showed marked improvement at Enghien three weeks ago. JACK DU PONT (6) seldom puts a foot out of line and is expected to improve on his recent performance across town. The somewhat delicate JERONIMO DU CAUX (8) is forced to start wide but is a useful trotter when applied and can make up for his recent Vittel sanction.
In cracking form for past 2.5 months. Comes here on a hat-trick and is not incapable of pulling it off

Out of competition since October 2021, GOULETTE (10) made an excellent comeback at Graignes three weeks ago; she will have come on for the run and, with Franck Nivard maintaining faith, can impose. That said, GOLDWYN DU CAUX (1) has been enjoying something of a renaissance since moving to the Laurent yard, and returns to Vincennes with legitimate ambition. The marginally trickier FOND OF YOU (2) is similarly back in the game and should logically put his recent Pornichet clinker behind him. FOND OF YOU (2) went close in a similar Enghien event earlier in the month, before confirming in the provinces, and must not be underestimated.
Useful sort for the most part but takes on some big guns this time around and can be passed over

Third in the Langon stage of the GNT before twice going close, GENDREEN (9) returns to a track he likes and, barefoot for the occasion, looks a solid base. The difficult GALILEO BELLO (14) got back to winning ways at Enghien last month and will be dangerous if Franck Nivard can keep him trotting. ETOILE DE QUESNY (15) has nothing to prove under these conditions and is expected to make up for her Brehal disappointment. Reinvigorated of late, GAELIC DU ROCHER (8) acquitted herself well in a Gr.3 earlier in the month and, with form maintained, will not be far off the mark.

Unbeaten in two since coming to France, COBRA KILLER GAR (3) is again fitted with front pads and looks eminently capable of pulling off the hat-trick. Principal opposition comes from the Matthieu Abrivard duo of COLIBRI' JET (9), who is barefoot for her second start since joining his new stables, and the remarkably consistent CHEMAR (4) who has never disappointed at Vincennes when unshod. Like a horse reborn lately, HERCULE DE LEAU (13) steps up in class but has earned the right to take his chances.

Yet to reproduce her 3 year-old form, JOYCE DELTO (1) nevertheless showed her condition at Cabourg last time out and, if applied here, can win. That said, JALNA DE TOUCHYVON (13) won over course and distance when barefoot for the only time and, with shoes off again, will be no pushover. JULIE DU CLOS (5) has been on a fine run of form this season and makes her Vincennes debut with justified ambition. JALENDRA DE MALAC (8) tends to prefer a shorter trip but has won over 2800m and in current form is hard to ignore.

Benefitting from a superb entry at the limit of earnings, HAUCKLAND (9) gets to start on the front row here and, in current form, can lift a race of this nature. GO TO AMERICA (12) is 25m worse off but imposed on her amateur debut here two months ago and appears the main danger. Simply dynamic since the spring, HENRIETT D'AURCY (5) can boast a fine record in this category and must be taken seriously. Excellent when unshod behind, GOSSE DES MOLLES (6) has taken little time getting back in shape and, from the front line, can give this a good go.

Sanctioned twice as often as not, KENTUCKY SCARLET (2) is nevertheless a good colt in the making and, switching codes for the first time with Alexandre Abrivard in the saddle, can wrap this up. Horse of a similar profile, KING OF JIEL (7) has taken superbly to his new vocation and, dropping marginally in category, looks dangerous. Useful, but yet to lose his maiden tag, KENTUCKY SAM (5) also makes his first appearance in the code which may well prove key to his redemption. KEY BISCAYNE (8) was sanctioned on his monte debut but has evident ability and the presence of Mathieu Mottier will only enhance expectations.
