SIROBBIE opened his account over course and distance earlier this month and a 5lb rise for that comfortable victory entitles him to be thereabouts once again. Silent Encore was second on that occasion and is respected, as he is 3lb better off on revised terms, while Du Destin was another to go close last time and warrants close consideration representing a top stable.
SIROBBIE had enough up his sleeve when off the mark over C&D last time to think he can uphold the form with Silent Encore (runner-up that day) despite being 3 lb worse off, his profile over hurdles one of gradual progression to this point. Du Destin is another with potential but hasn't been the easiest to train.

SOLOMON GREY made a great start to his chasing career when an emphatic 13-length winner over course and distance earlier this month. Dan Skelton's seven-year-old will be hard to beat if in the same form and is more than capable of conceding 6lb to his rivals here. It looked like the switch to Ian Williams had done the trick for Cause Toujours when scoring on his first two outings for the handler last summer, but he soon returned to type and found himself playing bridesmaid for the rest of the season. He should be capable of performing to a useful level over fences and is the most likely alternative to the selection, but Lungarno Palace is no mug and is could easily run to his consistent best if this test isn't a little on the sharp side.
