A mark of 120 looks to flatter A TAIL OF INTRIGUE, but he performed creditably when fourth in much stronger maiden company at Aintree on Friday and ought to take all the beating so long as this doesn't come too soon. Market support for Dr Dalwhinny would look significant as he returns from a 331-day break, while the dropped-in-trip Larteta performed creditably at Uttoxeter and he makes each-way appeal.

Given his quirks, a 10lb rise for Ballygrooby Bertie's Towcester success may prove troublesome, while Ballybriggan and Solidago arrive on the back of lacklustre performances, and Gud Day reverts to timber following a disappointing effort over fences. THE MAGIC BISHOP almost took advantage of his rapidly sliding mark when a head second to Everaard at Wetherby, and he makes plenty of appeal off only 1lb higher now the ground has come in his favour. High Ron jumped poorly throughout when a beaten favourite at Wetherby and isn't one to write off just yet, while the return to this trip will suit Georgian King, who hinted at a revival at Worcester.
