COST AFFECTIVE could be tough to beat after he was narrowly denied last month, but Borseggiatore could be able to put up a good fight on the evidence of his recent second at Churchill Downs. Perfect Danger showed promise before a long layoff and deserves a market check.
SUNDAE SCHOOL was narrowly denied at this venue last month and a similar effort may be enough to go one better in this company. The proximity of Stage Name to the selection makes her a major consideration too, while Devilish Love could be tough to stop if reproducing her display at Penn when last sighted in September.
SUGAR BEACH is in great nick at present and followed up a Finger Lakes victory with a solid third at that track last time. The return to claiming company may make life easier, but Platinum Bombshell looks a potent threat after finishing runner-up at this track and Penthouse Party takes a drop in class in search of a return to form.
STORMKEEPER ran a race full of promise when second over 5f on debut at Pimlico and is entitled to improve with the benefit of that outing under her belt. It's Your Dime and Tordita can scrap it out for the silver medal.
Rapid Repair is steadily getting the hang of things and warrants respect on only her third start, but SHAYJOLIE made a taking debut when denied by three-quarter of a length over 6 1/2f here, and she ought to prove tough to beat upped to 1m. Magnolia Lane can chase them home.
SCATCAPADE, Flaring and Tasmona finished second, third and fourth respectively over 6f last time, and with no hard luck stories seemingly evident, that form is taken to be upheld.
ASSET INFLATION is given a tentative vote as he looks unexposed after an impressive maiden success at Saratoga. Pirate's Pleasure is an appealing alternative after losing out by a slender margin last time, while a switch to the main track would make Brendan G a major consideration.
PAPY was well supported when finishing fourth over track and trip and deserves another try. Maximus Mike can use his breakthrough success as a platform for a big run here, while Happy Fella arrives fresh from victory and looks a major player.
HARRYTHENAVIGATOR finished a neck second when dropped into a similar claimer here last month and a repeat performance is expected to suffice. You You and Three For Me can also make the frame.
