It could be worth siding with the unbeaten UP TO SOMETHING. Charlie Longsdon's gelding confirmed the promise shown in bumpers last term when scoring comfortably on his hurdling/seasonal debut here last month and, with the extra half-a-mile today seen as more of a help than a hindrance, he is fancied to hit the target again. Corrin Wood warrants respect on his first start for Donald McCain having shaped encouragingly in a Tipperary bumper during the spring when with Michael Barry, while Coneygree, half-brother to last season's Hennessy hero Carruthers, could go well at a price.

She appeared to benefit from the application of the visor (worn again today) when scoring readily over this trip at Plumpton recently and a 7lb penalty may not be enough to stop her if in the same mood. Blackstone Vegas arrives fit from the Flat and would have a chance if reproducing a similar level of performance to the one which saw him finish second on his latest hurdles start at Market Rasen in May, while I'm A Gangster and Rime Avec Gentil complete the shortlist.

A few look to have chances in this beginners' chase so SAPHIR RIVER receives what is only a tentative vote. Bought into the Michael Scudamore stable for 280,000 euros after being placed in a Grade 1 hurdle at Auteuil last November, the grey showed off his ability again when fourth in Listed company at the Aintree Festival during the spring and he certainly has the scope to do well in this sphere. Desert Cry shares a hurdle rating of 139 with the selection and is respected on his chasing bow, while Jimbill and Ciceron are others to note.

The hat-trick seeking Coronea Lilly is sure to have plenty of supporters on her handicap debut having determinedly landed a couple of novice events at Ludlow, but KINDLY NOTE gets the verdict. The 5-year-old daughter of Generous gave the impression that she has improved for a summer break when finishing runner-up on her seasonal/handicap debut at Worcester recently and, likely to improve for extra four furlongs today, she is taken defy a 5lb rise and go one better. Wild Rhubarb won comfortably over this C&D on her penultimate outing and is difficult to overlook in the first-time visor.

Lukeys Luke has been placed in both starts over fences thus far and ought to give another good account here, while Rigadin De Beauchene is worthy of consideration on his return to action representing a Venetia Williams stable that has been amongst the winners of late. The vote, however, goes to DANCING ART. He improved throughout last season, just failing to build on two Newcastle wins at Haydock latest, and is sure to go very close on his return if anywhere near peak fitness.
