After disappointing NUNTIUS ORATORION was rested and gelded. He has ability and could strike if puts it in. FRIEND OF TIME was friendless in the betting on debut but wasn't disgraced. The extra should suit. THE BOSBOK comes from franked form and must be respected. RESCUE found no support on debut and will come on. ALPHAMIKEFOXTROT and PELICAN BAY could make the frame.

CRIMSON ROYALE and VIVIR renew rivalry. The latter finished ahead of the Sean Tarry filly on debut and wasn't disgraced in a KZN feature thereafter, however, CRIMSON ROYAL has proven stamina over the distance. SOUL OF WIT (maturing nicely) and BRAVE ZNDAYA (won this track and trip last time) are not out of the reckoning. Debutante VIRGINIA is said to have ability - respect.

Tricky. Johan Janse van Vuuren has 4 very useful runners in NEW PREDATOR, BRAZUCA, DOOSRA and IRISH PRIDE, however, all come of breaks and the money market needs to be watched closely. KINGS ARCHER is running well and shouldn't be far off. SPLENDID GARDEN finished ahead of SHUKAMISA last time but the latter never produced best form. EMILY JAY can never be ignored.

LADY NEGRA has ability but has often disappointed. If reproduces her last run should contest the finish. NOCEUR is versatile and cannot be discarded. EXCALIBUR'S RETURN could benefit with the blinkers on.
