Flagstaff is one that Juddmonte will be keen to get a win out of for paddock values but she's yet to suggest that all-important win is imminent. Sing For Me finished well clear of REMARKABLE LADY when the pair met at Down Royal but that was a notably below par effort by the latter and she's better judged on her subsequent runner-up run at Galway. She has decent claims on the best of her maiden form too and is preferred. Sevilla was much improved at Limerick last time and completes the shortlist.

SCEALTANA was strongly supported when disappointing at Galway but had previously looked progressive at an ordinary level and is well worth another chance in receipt of weight all round, his best performance coming on his penultimate start when runner-up to No Biggie in a Naas handicap. Ineffable has seemingly had limitations exposed the last twice in handicap grade but this looks a more workable opportunity and he rates the major threat. First Class Ticket and Gaberdine have both shown more than enough in maiden company to be competitive in a trappy little heat.

Top Tip: Scealtana (5)
Watch out for: Ineffable (3)

A tough race to get your head around, INEFFABLE, with 2 wins to his name and who won't want for stamina, could be the way to go with his Galway return under his belt. Scealtana and First Class Ticket both deserve favourable mentions.

Little form of any solidity to assess and the various newcomers will require a market check. However, although PROPRIANO doesn't rate a leading light for the Weld yard, the US-bred gelding has not been disgraced in decent maiden contests won by the likes of Motherland, Cockatoo Island and Cook Islands. He may just prove good enough in a modest contest, with the application of a first-time visor hopefully proving beneficial. Fair hurdler I'm All You Need shaped well on her Flat debut and commands respect along with another decent jumping sort in Urtheoneiwant. Galaxor and Prince Charmin' are possible improvers.

My Painter would be the choice if getting a run on the back of a useful performance last time but is currently first reserve. In her absence, DANSE ROUGE is taken to build upon a much better run the last day when a good Leopardstown third to Mcguigan, who has boosted the form with a further success this week. Pat Flynn's lightly-raced filly looks on a fair mark and gets the vote. Gun Shoot and Rockview Emperor both have place claims and the latter could well emerge as the prime threat if forgiven a moderate recent run. Ben Rumson is also respected.

MY DIRECTION looked to have plenty in hand when winning at Gowran on Wednesday and, providing this doesn't come too soon after that assignment, he should be able to follow up under a 5lb penalty. Escape Paradise, who receives all the allowances, looks clear second best having either won or finished in the places on her last four visits to the racecourse, while The Ice Meister, refitted with cheekpieces, could prove best of the rest.

WATER SPRITE is a useful dual purpose performer and she won a lot easier than the one-and-a-quarter-length margin suggests at Galway last month. A 15lb rise will obviously make life a lot tougher, but she remains open to greater improvement and gets the vote to follow up. There was just three parts of a length splitting Captain Carleton (second) and Paddy The Celeb (fourth) in a 1m4f handicap at the Galway Festival and that pair should be closely matched again, while C&D third Do Try Dolly cannot be ruled out either.
