KING'S WHARF had been very progressive over fences in the summer when winning two on the bounce but was sent back over hurdles to exploit what appeared a lenient handicap mark. The son of Clodovil looked to not see out 3m last time at Listowel behind Garri Rua and returns to fences off a 13lb higher mark than when winning at Killarney in August which should prove no issue here. Wes Hardin is of interest back in handicap company over fences and is entitled to improve for a step up in distance, while Killiney Court returns chasing after a solid enough effort at Listowel last month.

This looks a match on paper between JETSTREAM JACK and Inis Meain but preference goes to the former. He was a decent enough hurdler having placed in a Grade 2 behind Up For Review at Punchestown but has always promised to make up into a better horse over the larger obstacles, when stepped up in distance, and this looks the perfect opportunity to gain some valuable experience. The latter was third at Listowel behind the useful Three Stars on his chasing debut and is entitled to build on that here, while Donnellan would be the preference for the battle for third place.

MONBEG NOTORIOUS boasts the strongest form of these having chased home the likes of Invitation Only at Navan when finishing fourth and No Comment at the Punchestown Festival where he was a good third stepped up in distance. The son of Milan is likely to improve further for another two furlongs and should prove to be a decent sort once going over hurdles. Gigginstown's other runner Clara Sorrento is related to some decent types who ran on the Flat and merits respect, while Now McGinty improved from debut to second start when fourth behind Grotesque at Gowran and looks best of the remainder.
