PERFECT LEGACY (12) was wide placing distantly at Ballarat and go on the near-miss first-up at Kyneton. Has a sticky gate but this looks winnable with the extra fitness. CHARM AND DISARM (8) was okay on debut and will be better for it. She will use the handy gate and should go close with Bates sticking. MR FREEZE (4) peaks and is ready to win. Was favourite the latest and races handy. FLYING ARTIST (3) is in a top barn and has been well-supported all three starts. Uses the rail and quick improvement is likely. PERCEPTIVE (11) is a stablemate on debut. Will be well-prepared and elevate if the big money comes.

TYDEUS (2) led first-up as favourite and was okay. The lightly-raced galloper is suited around here and has won second-up. Gets the blinkers first time and a 4kg claimer and has the speed to clear the wide gate. In good hand and fitter gets the nod. SUNBURNT (7) resumes and is good enough to win this. Has placed 2/3 fresh and draws well with a 3kg claim. AMINATU (4) is fast and resumes off the all-the-way win this grade and will have come on. The 3kg claim brings her right into it. MORE (5) looked in need of the first-up run for the new (sharp) barn. Won the Maiden fresh prior heavily-bet. Has the speed to manage an outside gate and is a betting watch.
