Significant support for Wild Is The Wind should probably be heeded but he was beaten a long way when last in action so the vote goes to chasing debutant BEST PROFILE. He ran the best race of his career when encountering better ground for the first time at around this trip last time and should make a better chaser. Lawyer Des Ormeaux made an impressive return to action over hurdles last time and looks a live danger on his chasing bow.

Nopekan is the pick on official ratings but can't be fancied after a lacklustre return. Shingle Street is sure to be popular with McCoy aboard but he isn't the most convincing and it may be worth taking a chance with RESONANCE. She ran her best race for a long time at Towcester last time and although this is a very different test she is at least in form. Ice Lad and Viscount Rossini would be worth considering if attracting any support.

DUSKY LORD is a horse with a future albeit over fences in all probability; he won first time out last year and should be able to repeat the feat here. Caraman won well at Bangor but his market rivals disappointed and the race didn't have much depth so a 12lb rise looks harsh. Amour Multiple and Take A Mile are worth considering but Star Shot won't lack for fitness and has more scope than that pair and looks the biggest threat.

Sento is very talented but is far from the most reliable proposition and couldn't be backed with any confidence. Multeen River has claims but none makes more appeal than DICKENSBURY LAD who was a progressive performer last season and this looks a decent opportunity to begin his new campaign with a victory. A case could be made for any of Dun An Doras, Green Finger and Kosmos Bleu but none boasts the most convincing profile and they are pretty readily passed over.

Nick Williams and Polly Gundry combined to win this race two years ago and look set to land the prize again with BLANDINGS CASTLE. He's up 9lbs and the form is open to question but he could be well treated if connections have found the key to him.
