MUCHO LOCO has something to prove on the all-weather but he sets the standard on recent form with his third in a seller over 7f at Leicester last time out. It could pay to side with John Portman's charge in this company, although Lottie may be a serious threat. She only found one too good in a similar event at Redcar last month and will appreciate a return to this trip after flopping over 1m latest. Crafty Fox is another to consider on his best lines of form.

It is rare to see a Barry Hills representative in this grade and BAHAMIAN LOVE is expected to make the drop in class pay dividends. The daughter of Bahamian Bounty has proved consistent on her outings to date and ran right up to her best when coming off worst in a three-way photo at Folkestone in September. That represents the best form on offer in this contest and, as long as she handles the surface, she should go close. World Spirit and Rue Soleil have both shown promise and look the main threats.

A chance is taken on HOUSE MARTIN breaking her duck after several decent efforts in defeat recently. JADEERON should be more than capable of winning races in this grade and the drop back in trip could be just what he needs to register another success. He ran well for a long way at Kempton last time but found nothing in the closing stages over 2m and a similar performance over this shorter trip could see him home in front. Aggi Mac returns after almost a year off the track but is capable if fully tuned up, while Glen Vale Walk did well on his reappearance after more than two years on the sidelines and can also get involved.

Komreyev Star comes here in good heart and is likely to make a bold bid, but he may have to settle for minor honours behind recent scorer TARTAN SPECIAL. Karl Burke's gelding produced a good display at Kempton eight days ago and his confidence is sure to have been boosted with that success. He cleared away from the field in commanding fashion that day and will be hard to beat, despite a penalty, if in a similar mood. Spring Time Girl was in third at Kempton and could again make the frame.
