THE LOVE GURU scored cleverly over C&D this month to break his duck at the fifth time of asking. This is tougher but he looks open to further improvement and gets the vote. Lord Victor won a seller over 7f here last time and looks the danger despite a drop in trip and a big rise in class. Silver Linnet, an easy winner at Catterick, is another with claims but she is tackling the all-weather for the first time.
The Love Guru proved a revelation here last time and he can overcome a hike in the weights. Flow Chart may still prove to be well handicapped and is respected, while Silver Linnet could go well despite the unknowns regarding the surface.

Bubbly Bellini won a 6f Wolverhampton claimer and followed up with a head second in a similar contest to this over the same track and trip. He has obvious claims but it might pay to side with C&D winner STAR PROMISE, who was well held over 5f at Wolverhampton last time. This is a much easier task, however, and he might have too much class for these rivals. Tamarind Hill can be given a chance in this grade on his best form.
Star Promise drops in grade and can make it 2 from 2 over C&D. Tamarind Hill might appreciate this shorter trip and could prove a bigger danger than Bubbly Bellini, for all he has attitude issues.

It's difficult to oppose the claims here of the in-form DESERT VISION, beaten just once in his last four starts - all at Wolverhampton. He's risen 19lb in the handicap in that period but still looks to have the measure of these rivals. Dream In Blue takes a big step up in class after scoring in a seller over C&D but could be the one for the forecast while Resplendent Ace shouldn't be too far away again.
Desert Vision is thriving at present, but has to prove his worth on fibresand. Resplendent Ace has no problems in that department and is preferred on that score. Eseej recent runs hardly inspire confidence, but will be dangerous if bouncing back on his favoured surface.

GRUDGE has taken a liking to the all-weather and won nicely over this trip at Wolverhampton last month. This looks slightly easier and he should be capable of following up. Total Impact is a consistent performer in this grade and won't be far away while Metal Guru won twice over 5f at Wolverhampton in the autumn in handicap company and must be given a chance here.
Grimes Faith should fare a bit better back on this surface, while Total Impact is reliable enough in this grade. Both may find a resurgent Metal Guru too much to contend with though and her latest second proved her effectiveness on this surface.

This should go the way of TEJIME, a well-bred sort who cost connections 42,000 guineas. He's put in two good efforts to date in similar contests over 7f at Wolverhampton and this shorter trip should enable him to open his account. Bandstand is another with a decent pedigree and he could prove the danger on debut while Poet's Place could also run well first time out.
Tejime's debut second sticks out like a sore thumb in this company and he should make amends for his recent blow out if taking to this different surface. Place The Duchess and Freya's Dream could fare best of the rest.

In a wide-open contest, it may pay to side with HIT THE SWITCH, who recorded his second C&D success from his last four starts last week. He has another 3lb to carry for that neck success but looked to have a little in hand on that occasion. Convince is up 4lb after dead-heating here last time and looks the main danger although Transmission, second in a C&D claimer latest, Camerooney and Louisiade, can all be given chances.
