DRAKES WELL almost caused a surprise at 50/1 when second on his Rules debut Fontwell recently and the eight-year-old could go one better here. He didn't get the clearest run at the business end of that contest and could put his experience in the pointing field to good use as he looks for some compensation. Fontana Ellissi wasn't disgraced when third behind the well-regarded Atholl Street at Taunton and the form of his recent run in a jumpers' bumper has been franked since. Largy Mouth is another who has been kept busy in the all-weather replacement races and is likely to be fully tuned up for this, with Docpickedme, Great Gable and Roscoe Tara others to note.

OPINE has looked a winner in waiting in his hurdles appearances so far and Jonjo O'Neill's four-year-old could make good use of Kevin Brogan's 5lb allowance now making his handicap debut following wind surgery.
