Verdict

ZACPACK ASSASSIN showed good improvement when runner-up in his second start. The horse who finished in front of him that day, Cruzador, has won again so the form is promising. Once again there are numerous carded runners making their debuts and the betting could be the best guide. FIRST RAIN, REDOUTE'S SECRET and VIC FALLS are all capable of showing some improvement and can be considered.

Verdict

An open-looking race. ROMAN ROYALTY probably needed his local debut and an improved run should be on the cards. ARION EXPRESS has been in good form of late and is suited to the course and distance so should be included in all exotics. Verdict

BROADSIDE was impressive in her local debut win and did run nicely in defeat in two starts since, so there is every reason to believe she will be right there at the finish. NORFOLK PINE has lost her way in the last two starts but could like this drop in distance. BEETHOVEN is a bit unreliable but is also capable of contesting the finish. SAILING LIZARD was a wide margin winner on the Polytrack last time out and is just as good on the turf. EXION is in good form and must be considered.

Verdict

FLY MY FLAG is a decent filly and the only question she will need to answer is whether 1000m is right for her? SCENTED GARDEN has won three times on the Polytrack and was only fifth when trying the grass before but she must be respected.
