STORM CHECK has failed to set the world alight in three maiden outings so far but he's a half-brother to 10 winners and the switch to handicap company, which coincides with the fitting of a first-time visor and a step up in distance, may see him in a better light. Sleep Easy could improve on his recent 1m5f Lingfield sixth now blinkers are applied, while it would come as no surprise to see Trafalgar Rock pop up following a recent drop in the handicap.

RASHEEQ sets the standard on his placed efforts over this trip at Wolverhampton and Chelmsford City and if he proves as effective now switching to this slower surface, he'll take plenty of beating. Sea Of Uncertainty took a forward step when landing the silver medal over 5f here last time and is considered the main danger ahead of Michael Appleby's newcomer Rainbow Lad, who may come into his own over further later in the year and beyond.

RASHEEQ sets a good standard on 2 runner-up efforts in recent months, and providing he takes to the surface, really ought to make it third time lucky. Sea of Uncertainty finished second over 5f here 2 weeks ago and may well occupy the same spot again unless Rainbow Lad is forward on debut.

TIME WARP failed to justify favouritism when fourth over the extended 7f at Ffos Las last month but that effort sets the standard here and Sir Mark Prescott's 74-rated colt looks the safest option in a race lacking depth. There may be better to come from Highly Prized, who holds an entry in next year's Derby but ran lamentably on debut at HQ. Senza Una Donna represents a trainer who does well at this venue so is also worth a market check, despite offering little in two outings so far.

The fitting of a first-time visor could be a source of immediate improvement for WESTMINSTER, a 7f course winner in January who has been dropped 2lb for finishing fourth in a stronger contest here on his last outing in March. A market check on his return from a 148-day break could be most revealing. Penalised track-and-trip winner Showboating is respected and holds Quadriga (third) on their recent encounter. The main danger, however, may be the consistent Ian's Memory.

Seychelloise will no doubt attract support on the back of her recent near-miss in a C&D maiden but she was soundly beaten off 3lb lower here in December and might be worth taking on with DIAMOND LADY, who was good enough to finish third at Newmarket and could find this opposition a bit weaker if she takes to the surface on her Fibresand bow. Saved My Bacon has run well here in the past and is sliding back towards a workable rating.

Keep Up boasts a similar profile and is one to consider for powerful connections now cheekpieces go on. The consistent Illya Kuryakin makes most appeal of the remainder.
