MAIL has found things tough since winning at Philadelphia in May but can bounce back with his sights lowered. The consistent Cease also lowers his sights and looks a player, along with recent scorers I'm Steppin' It Up and Lieutenant Seany O.
This looks a pretty hot maiden so the market could prove an invaluable guide. DALMORE has a couple of runs under his belt, though, and shades the vote over the recent fourth Monster Bea. Conquest Windycity and Rafting look the pick of the newcomers.
In a race full of newcomers, the market is likely to provide the best guide here. SMART MOON changed hands for $500,000 last year and is a tentative pick ahead of Bayou Banker and Wingman.
Last time out Belmont winner CHARMING KITTEN is respected in his present mood and can confirm form with Under Control to land a double. Reload looks to be coming back to the boil and is also considered.
LOOKAROUNDCORNERS looked an incredibly unlucky loser when beaten a nose into second spot in a slightly stronger grade at Belmont last time. He can go one better now at the main expense of Same As and Caged.
HAVANA was a high-class two-year-old and rounded off his juvenile campaign with an terrific second in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile. He has had his problems since but shaped with plenty of encouragement on his reappearance and is fancied to score now. Crafty Dreamer has been thereabouts lately and commands respect along with Joking.
DARING KATHY arrives in the form of her career is difficult to oppose on a four-timer. She won a Grade 3 at Gulfstream Park two starts back and is taken to prove too good for class-droppers J Wonder and Joint Return.
The returning TAKE CHARGE BRANDI is bidding to win five on the bounce after scoring at Oaklawn in January and shades the vote. Recent winners Cavorting and So You Say might have a fitness edge over the selection and have to enter calculations too.
HONOR CODE accounted for the reopposing Tonalist (second) when winning a Grade 1 at Belmont in June and she will be tough to beat if reproducing that level of form. Noble Bird is a consistent performer and he completes the shortlist.
DANZA CAVALLO was beaten just over a length into fifth in a Grade 1 last time out and , if she can bring that level of form to the table again, she will prove tough to beat. Kitten's Point and White Rose are the dangers.
BELLA KATERI has been knocking hard on the door lately and having faded late on last time, could feasibly improve for this drop in distance. Miss Valued is chasing a four-timer and has place claims along with the improving Full Tap.
