SANCTUAIRE got his season back on track when landing the Scottish Champion Hurdle at Ayr last time and can continue to make up for lost time by following up for a double here. Clerk's Choice warrants respect at the weights and although held in the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham last month, takes a marked drop in grade. The Jigsaw Man will be hoping to make all of the running but appears vulnerable on these terms, while Dorabelle has plenty to prove off the back of her recent efforts and cannot be sensibly recommended.
This is likely to become tactical, with Clerk's Choice and Sanctuaire waited with behind The Jigsaw Man. The value will probably lie with the first-named.

KING OF THE NIGHT is weighted to win more races and was still in contention when falling four out in the Martin Pipe race at Cheltenham last month. Providing he stays on his feet, Paul Nicholls' gelding should take all the beating although Extreme Conviction could give him most to think about. The last named has been raised 11lb for his Market Rasen victory in September but made great strides last summer and will relish these conditions. Kazzene has kept good company in novices' events and is another to consider now turning his attention to handicaps.
With the Sheena West stable in such good form, recent Flat winner Mohanad needs considering, but there's a fair chance the best has yet to be seen of Stratigic Gale and King of The Night. Both represent top stables, with the former marginally preferred.

TATANIANO has been restricted to just the one start this term but will appreciate the better ground and can land his first victory of the season if continuing his progress from last year, when he won a Grade 1 novices' chase at Aintree. French Opera looks the main danger at the weights and is likely to benefit from the return to 2m. Oiseau De Nuit built upon his surprise Cheltenham victory with a credible second to Silk Drum at Aintree and cannot be ruled out while evidently in good heart.
Tataniano has been on the missing list for a while but it will be disappointing if he can't take this with conditions in his favour. French Opera is respected back down slightly in class, while Oiseau de Nuit was second in this in 2010 and returns at the top of his game.

A fiercely competitive renewal which sees last year's winner Church Island head the weights. He looks up against it off an 8lb higher mark though and Ferdy Murphy's POKER DE SIVOLA edges the vote. This Cheltenham Festival winner came in for a lot of support prior to being badly hampered and unseating Graham Lee in the early stages of the Scottish Grand National last week and it's interesting that cheekpieces are now fitted. Timmy Murphy, who has won on him twice before, will be hoping to get the eight-year-old into a good rhythm and deliver him late. Baby Run is sure to have plenty of supporters but it's doubtful whether he will be classy enough, while Balthazar King is unbeaten in both starts so far this year and Aimigayle has been a market mover during the build up.
The Philip Hobbs-pair Triggerman and Balthazar King are unexposed over this sort of trip and make plenty of appeal, but the bold-jumping Baby Run returns to handicaps on a good mark and, with the track promising to suit, has plenty in his favour.

Richard Hannon has successfully targeted this race with the likes of Hurricane Alan, Major Cadeaux and Paco Boy in the last decade and DICK TURPIN looks to have a very good chance of enhancing his already impressive record. DANCE AND DANCE ran a cracking race to finish second to Eton Forever in the Spring Mile earlier in the month and time will probably reveal he bumped into a very smart type that day. Ed Vaughan's gelding appears to have trained on well over the winter and although he has gone up 3lb for his Doncaster second, he remains open to further improvement at a mile and gets the nod. This novelty race has gone the way of the flat boys for the last two years but Aidan Coleman could end their run courtesy of BEAVER PATROL. Eve Johnson Houghton's gelding has dropped to a nice mark these days and has gone well fresh in the past. Uncle Fred returned to the winner's enclosure when dropped back to this trip last time and should give a good account off 2lb higher under AP McCoy, who won this race in 2004 and 2007. Edgewater bumped into a well treated rival when pipped at Windsor last time but is another to consider.
