Palais Glide has enjoyed a good time of it on the all-weather over the winter and there is every reason she can prove as effective on turf, while Tro Nesa isn't too badly treated on her Ayr win last autumn and wasn't disgraced when fourth behind a couple of useful sorts at Wolverhampton just over three weeks ago. Kempton maiden winner Winniepeg remains capable of better but a chance is taken on ACCLAMATORY, who shaped like in need of this drop in trip when fading late on over 6f at Kempton last time and has shown enough so far to suggest she can prove competitive off this sort of mark.
Unless there's significant support for Acclamatory, it may pay to focus on turf debutantes Palais Glide and Winniepeg. Slight preference is for the former.

Ortea didn't show a great deal when a well beaten favourite on his Newcastle debut but he has clearly been showing up well at home and isn't one to give up on. Jimmy The Lollipop, fifth in the Brocklesby on his his highly encouraging racecourse bow, is another expected to win his fair share of races while the Richard Hannon-trained newcomer Wolfgang warrants close scrutiny beforehand. However, BLUEBELLS ARE BLUE takes the eye on paper representing first-season sire Three Valleys and a bold showing from this well-bred sort would come as no surprise.
Jimmy The Lollipop shaped with plenty of promise in the Brocklesby and can put that experience to good use here. Wolfgang looks the pick of the newcomers on pedigree, while Outlaw Torn should step up on his first run.

LEES ANTHEM ran an absolute blinder on his seasonal reappearance when fourth of 17 in a competitive handicap over the trip at Ripon last week, just shaping as if the outing was needed in the process, and he looks well enough handicapped at present to resume winning ways. Silver Wind holds strong claims on his third over 6f at Windsor earlier in the month but he has never won over this minimum trip and Yankee Storm, who returns to turf on a lowly mark, rates next best.
Yankee Storm has been very consistent on AW this year and can capitalise on his lower turf mark. Lees Anthem and Excellent Vision may prove best of the rest.

A return to form would see Tapis Libre, a winner at Redcar back in September, go close but LEMON DROP RED really caught the eye when making late headway under a considerate ride at Lingfield last month and handed a more sufficient test of stamina this evening, he looks worth another chance racing off what is a very workable handicap mark. Rational Act shaped well on his recent Beverley return and he completes the shortlist.
Lemon Drop Red had everything go wrong at Lingfield last month, but he remains capable of much better and his stable is going great guns at present. Melbury is unexposed at the trip and should improve, while Looksmart will appreciate the return to turf.

Henry Cecil saddles two of the four runners and market confidence behind the newcomer Baltic Light would have to be respected. However, at this stage, it should prove safer to side with ALDEDASH who is the choice of stable jockey Tom Queally having shaped with considerable promise in two starts so far. The most recent of those efforts came when a good third to Laughing Jack over this trip at Windsor 12 days ago and a repeat performance should be enough to see him get off the mark at the expense of recent Kempton third Major Domo.
Aldedash looks to have been found a good opening. Stablemate Baltic Light may find Major Domo too hot to handle in the race for second.

Amistress certainly looks to have gone the right way over the winter judged on her hard fought Nottingham victory but she is 5lb higher in the weights now for that nose success and the handicapper could well have her measure now. Subramaniam doesn't appear too harshly treated and could be capable of better than he showed on his handicap debut at Kempton but Michael Bell's ROSA MIDNIGHT is rock solid. The selection was a cosy winner in this grade at Kempton two starts ago and was far from disgraced in stronger company last time. She could prove hard to beat returning to this level.
Amistress dug deep to win over C&D last time and can follow up at the main expense of King Kurt and Rosa Midnight, both of whom threaten to be well suited by the longer trip.
