CLODOVA improved on last season's debut effort with a solid third at Tipperary in April and there should be more to come. This trip and ground should be no problem. Takasima takes a step up in distance for her comeback and should be suited to it after some good runs over 7f. THE FIST OF GOD had a good season over hurdles and returns to the Flat over his best distance. He goes on decent ground and looks on a fair mark. Emmpat didn't fire over timber at Ayr last time but was previously in good form on Dundalk's all-weather track and won this race three years ago. Peacock's Pride is fit from a spin over hurdles and has gone well here before. The trip suits and he could be on the premises.

HAVETOAVIT went close off this mark at Gowran in mid-May and the step up in distance is another plus. He handles the ground and should be in the shake-up. De Senectute has gone up just a pound despite going down by less than a length at Wexford. She stays well and will be a threat. Thespian Star ran her best race for some time when fourth at Tramore eight days ago and a repeat performance would give her strong place claims.
