Suzie Quw is the top rated horse in this race but is without a win since last May and is starting to prove a touch expensive to follow. She should be more competitive in this field so it may pay to follow her each-way. Preference is for Jedd O'Keeffe's charge, POWERFUL PIERRE, who has been knocking on the door in recent weeks. He was headed in the final furlong over 5f on the all-weather at Wolverhampton but looks capable of landing something like this. Thewinnatakesitall should give a good account of herself once again.
Newbury Street has returned to form in low-grade events of late and he can prove too strong for Powerful Pierre and Suzie Quw.

He ran encouragingly over 6f at this track on debut last month and is heading in the right direction. Whisper Louise steps down in trip following two recent efforts over 6f. She was a close second on debut over this distance at Beverley and cannot be ruled out. Richard Fahey's juveniles have been in fine form and the newcomer Blaze Of Thunder represents the yard this evening.
Defence Council has done more than enough to think he has races in him and gets the vote. Blaze of Thunder is an interesting newcomer and is respected, while Hortensis shaped quite well here on her debut and can reach a place.

Little Scotland finally shook off her maiden tag with a success over this trip at Chepstow last month. She ran well enough in Group company last season and should play a hand in the outcome this evening. Slight preference, however, is for KELLYS EYE who is looking to land a hat-trick of C&D wins tonight. She won comfortably off a mark 7lb lower last time out and should have enough up his sleeve to defy that raise. Mick Channon's filly Fly Silca Fly has progressed nicely this year and another big run from her would not surprise.
Kellys Eye is on the upgrade and can complete a hat-trick at this course. The reliable Flaneur is likely to give his running again, while Makbullet should get involved if coming on as expected for last month's reappearance.

Bollin Dolly recorded a C&D success last month and despite disappointing at Carlisle last time out, she should go well tonight. She has been in good heart this year and will play a major role if running to her best. However, TEPMOKEA finished over 15 lengths ahead of her at Carlisle to finish fourth. He should come on for that seasonal bow and gets the nod this tonight. Veiled Applause scored over C&D back in 2008 but his inconsistency is a concern and he needs to be at his very best here.
Tepmokea has the potential to carry on improving for his new stable and could be hard to peg back if getting his own way in front. Persian Peril and Bollin Dolly look the pick of the remainder.

Inspirina won over this trip at Brighton last month and looks to be finding his form this year. He finished second over two furlongs shorter at the same track on his previous start and commands plenty of respect. It may pay, however, to oppose him with the top-weight COTILLION who, despite not breaking his duck yet, came close over this trip at Haydock last week. He is heading in the right direction and it would be no surprise to see him go one better tonight. Maslak and Safebreaker cannot be ruled out.
Safebreaker showed encouraging signs last time and can get back to winning ways. Maslak and Cotillion could prove the main dangers, the former particularly if left alone up front.

NIMUE looks the one to beat in the final race on the card. She has looked in good heart and has obviously trained on over winter having finished in the places in all four of her starts this year. Kevin Ryan has two entrants here but the pick of them looks to be Blue Moon who ran creditably into fourth on the all-weather at Wolverhampton back in March. Sammuramat offered plenty of encouragement on her seasonal bow at Brighton back in May and makes most appeal of the remainder.
Nimue deserves to put her head in front and she looks to have been found a good opportunity to get off the mark. Olney Lass and Sammuramat could be the pair to chase her home.
