Roodee Queen has had plenty of chances and looks vulnerable here but Dr Noverre was only beaten a head over C&D on his debut and has sound claims. Glitter Bug ran well for a long way on his debut over 6f at Ayr before weakening into seventh and could get a lot closer today but he has something to find with NIGHT SINGER who finished third in the same race. The Howard Johnson representative is taken to break his duck.
Mark Johnston's leading juvenile Awzaan took this last year, and there's a fair chance his Glitter Bug will prove a totally different proposition with a run behind him. Dr Noverre still rates the most likely winner, though.

Slight preference in this wide-open contest is for DESTINY'S DANCER, a winner over 7f on the all-weather at Wolverhampton. She has put in three good efforts on turf, just going down over 1m 2f at Redcar last week. She can go one better off the same handicap mark today. The danger could be Cross Key, who showed promise in sprint maidens last year and who could be suited by this trip. Chances can also be given to Broctune Papa Gio, Hathaway and High Resolution.
Destiny's Dancer should go well on the back of last week's Redcar second but that coincided with a step up in trip and she has to prove she's as good back over shorter. Therefore, Broctune Papa Gio is given the nod, having shaped well in a couple of 1m handicaps last month. Cross Key is also worthy of consideration on her handicap debut for Richard Fahey.

Graceful Descent and Stateside have form in better races and must be considered but it might be worth giving another chance to TOMINTOUL STAR. She is still a maiden after ten starts but she has been knocking on the door and, with a good apprentice jockey taking an extra 5lb off her back here, looks weighted to go close here.
Recent AW winner Al Shababiya looks sure to be on the premises if proving as good on turf. However, 3-time course winner Casino Night indicated that she may be coming to the boil at Newcastle earlier this month and could prove a better option. Tomintoul Star is another worth considering.

This might not take too much winning and ROTHESAY DANCER, who has been performing with credit in decent handicaps, has a chance to get back to winning ways. She was well beaten in a Thirsk seller last month but met all sorts of trouble in running. In this small field, there should be no such problems and she looks a cut above her rivals. Artsu, a close third in a similar contest over 6f at Ayr latest, and Mandarin Spirit, dropping in class, can contest the placings.
This rests between the top 3 in the weights, with Rothesay Dancer a tentative selection down in grade ahead of Mandarin Spirit and Artsu.

This could go the way of MUSICAL BRIDGE, who has hit top form of late. He comes here chasing a hat-trick, should be suited by the trip and scored with enough in hand over 5f here last time suggest he can defy a 7lb rise in the weights. Arjemis is up a grade and up 3lb following his 6f Catterick win but looks the main danger. Optical Illusion and Monte Mayor One are not without chances on the pick of their form.
Musical Bridge has thrived since the blinkers have gone on and can complete a hat-trick. Recent Catterick winner Arjemis looks the chief threat.

This looks the ideal opportunity for COCKNEY to gain recompense for a narrow defeat over 1m 2f at Folkestone last week on his racecourse debut. The well-bred colt looked a little green but got his act together to take up the lead in the straight, only to be caught close home and beaten a short head by the more experienced Mecox Bay. With that run under his belt, he should be up to seeing off these rivals. Urban Clubber and Maid Of Meft should not be overlooked.
Cockney looks a horse to keep on side following a most promising debut effort, and he should account for these without much fuss. Maid of Meft and Gwenllian can fight it out for the minor honours.
