Dream Maker was far from disgraced when third of five at Chester on her debut and this more conventional track may be more to her liking, while Lucky Lodge ran well enough behind Lastchancelucas in a hot race at York last time. However, a chance is taken that DIL LANEY's woeful effort at Doncaster was an aberration rather than indicative of his ability, as he went close at Musselburgh on his debut and that form looks fair.
Dream Maker showed enough speed over 6f at Chester to suggest this drop in trip may suit, and she is taken to get the better of fellow promising debutantes Annie Gogh and Delores Rocket.

It could easily be argued that Rosie's Lady would have won here last time but for meeting interference close home, but this is a huge step up in trip and SHIVSINGH's more proven stamina could be the safer option. Mick Channon's charge was only four lengths behind the winner over 1m4f at Wolverhampton last time and this extra 2f could suit. Lyrical Gangster has been tried at a variety of trips without success, but he did hint at needing further at Yarmouth last time.
Not the easiest race to call, with a number of these going up significantly in trip. One who should benefit from it is Bollin Nancy and she's worth chancing from a low mark on handicap bow. Shivsingh should also stay and makes the shortlist along with Rosie's Lady.

Exclusive Dancer finished fast to open her account over a mile at Thirsk last month and should be happy enough over this trip, while Mizbah has yet to prove he stays this far but his four-length third to Main Sequence at Newmarket last backend has been resoundingly franked by the winner's Derby second. Preference, though, is for the hat-trick seeking BURKE'S ROCK, who ran on well to score at Newmarket last time and this trip could bring about even more improvement.
Burke's Rock took care of a big-field at Newmarket last time over 1m, and the way he shaped that day suggested this trip would bring about further improvement. He gets the nod, though Ruscello and Prussian are live threats.

Though Con Artist cannot be ignored on the basis of his Epsom success when last seen, and Sirvino has to enter calculations after two solid runs in recent months, Luca Cumani landed this race with Forte Dei Marmi two years ago and has another improving sort for the job in DANADANA. A good winner of a big-field handicap at Newmarket last time, he could be capable of defying a 9lb higher mark here.
Another tasty renewal of this long-standing handicap in which ready Newmarket winner Danadana is fancied to give Luca Cumani a second success in 3 years. Navajo Chief and Eltheeb are just a couple of likely dangers.

The fitting of blinkers on HENRY BEE could enable him to erase the memories of his Ripon flop and a return to his previous form would make him hard to beat here. Ptolemy appears to be heading the right way but needs to progress more quickly to land this, while Compton Time showed only modest ability on his debut at Pontefract but if he improves on that, he could pose a few problems.
Henry Bee's recent run at Ripon tempers confidence slightly but he won't get many better chances than this to get off the mark and has to be the call in first-time headgear. Ptolemy is the obvious one for the forecast, though market confidence behind Gentle Sands on her first start for Ed McMahon would bring her into the reckoning.

Dubara Reef was beaten a fair way into third at Catterick last month, but that did represent something of an upturn in his fortunes, while Brook Star blotted her copybook with a poor effort when last seen but her previous win over C&D means she cannot be ruled out completely. NAVIGATION TRACK could be the one to be on, though, as he put in a commendable effort on his reappearance at Brighton and this trip looks tailor-made for him.
