AGADIR SUMMER missed out by just a neck on her final start as a three-year-old at Lingfield, and returned to action with a respectable run at Newcastle. Now moved into handicaps, David Simcock's filly can get the better of New River, who ran well enough for second at Windsor and has been dropped 1lb for that effort. Shy has plenty of placed form to her name and is another to consider.
Shy can't be knocked for her consistency, and she's taken to gain her third course win, with Chatterer and New River heading the list of likely dangers.

Mikael Magnusson's filly signed off last season with a win and looked to be getting back to her best form when a fair fourth on her second start of the season last time.
Golden Jubilee had a trio of these behind when making a successful handicap bow at Windsor, and should improve enough to confirm the form. Uncle Roger rates a danger if his latest AW flop is ignored, while the unexposed Sir Dylan is one to monitor in the market.

TEA CUP returned to action with a decent fourth at Newbury last month and looks sure to be winning soon on that evidence, and this could be the day. Scarlet Belle looked as though a victory was only a matter of time after her second at Salisbury but her subsequent effort was well below that standard. Nevaeh has a bit to prove following her fourth at Leicester, while Heyaaraat was beaten a long way behind The Fugue on her debut, but the winner has advertised the form well since.
Tea Cup is the pick after showing improved form on her return despite a troubled passage, and she should confirm form with Red Hot Secret. A much more potent threat could come via Heyaaraat, who is much better than she could show behind The Fugue on debut.

George Benjamin gained a nice confidence boost when winning down in claiming company last time, while Aqua Ardens' victory at Southwell came in a fairly modest maiden. Both will have to step up on those winning efforts to land this, especially with ARCTIC MIRAGE in the field. Michael Blanshard's gelding was beaten just over a length when fourth at Salisbury on his last turf start and could be happier back on the grass after failing at Lingfield last time.
George Benjamin starts off for a new yard on the back of an impressive claiming win, and won't need to improve to follow up. Great Charm is well treated on old form, and may be revitalised by a switch to Daniel Kubler, so is considered, as is Sir Bruno.

WILTSHIRE LIFE followed up a Kempton success with a fair performance to take third at Salisbury last time and she could still prove a slight amount ahead of the handicapper. Athenian carries a penalty for her emphatic Kempton win but has yet to race on turf, though she's likely to be value for more than an extra 6lb, while Little Rainbow wasn't too far away at Salisbury latest and makes up the shortlist.
Athenian is unraced on turf, but looks a handicapper to keep firmly on side, and is hard to oppose under a penalty for her recent Kempton win. Little Rainbow heads the supporting cast, although handicap debutante Perfect Policy may well be capable of better now blinkers are reached for.

The drop back to the minimum trip worked the oracle for Amazing Win at Brighton, but this extra furlong and a 6lb penalty swings the balance in favour of MARY'S PET. Lee Carter's mare left a sequence of poor efforts behind when successful at Southwell last time and though she's up 4lb for that, a repeat performance could be enough. Lady Mango has good form on the all-weather and is interesting, while Trade Centre made the frame at Bath last time but will need more here.
The Bath race in which Trade Centre, Amazing Win and Quadra Hop clashed in May has proven stronger than it looked at the time, and the former is taken to end a long losing run now. Nottingham third Gracie's Games is a C&D winner and arrives in good heart, while Yanza didn't get 7f last time out and should fare better now back at this distance, but this could go the way of RUNNING MATE. Jo Crowley's gelding loves to bounce off fast ground and though up 5lb for his latest Kempton win, he won well enough to suggest he could defy that rise.
First Class proved he was as effective on turf as AW last time, and can build on that effort here. Running Mate doesn't take much racing, but will be a serious rival if in the same form as when scoring at Kempton last time, while Gracie's Games goes well here and will appreciate any softening of the ground. My Name Is Sam needed the drop into selling company to get off the mark at Wolverhampton last time and while that will have boosted his confidence, he will need to find a lot more to land this. Seventeen Seventy just missed out at Folkestone last time and merits respect off the same mark, but preference is for TRENDING. Jeremy Gask's runner relished the drop to this trip when successful over C&D last time and could be capable of overcoming a 4lb hike here.
Trending has gone up just 4 lb for last month's C&D win and looks to have been found a good opportunity to follow up. Seventeen Seventy looks set to chase him home again along with My Name Is Sam.
