A wide-open renewal where it might be worth chancing the only four-year-old in the field TARABIYN. Willie Mullins' grey is making his handicap debut after a promising effort in second at Limerick and the step up to 2m4f in quicker underfoot conditions might yield the improvement required. A similar case can be made for his stablemate Nickname Exit, who had a subsequent winner in second, despite seemingly struggling to go the pace over two miles at Clonmel. Thistlecrack is improving at a rapid rate of knots and could hardly have been more impressive when winning the Grade 1 Sefton Novices' Hurdle at Aintree. The step up in distance brought about marked improvement in Colin Tizzard's inmate and he's very much a player. Killultagh Vic won the Martin Pipe at the Cheltenham Festival and is respected for leading connections, while No More Heroes ran a blinder for third in an attritional Albert Bartlett and he isn't without claims either. SHANESHILL sets a very high standard, though. The winner of the Grade 1 bumper on this card 12 months ago and second to crack stable companion Douvan in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle last month, Willie Mullins' charge has since regained the winning thread in no uncertain terms at Fairyhouse and there could be more improvement in the locker now he's tried over 3m for the first time.

The 11-year-old STRONGPOINT remains relatively lightly raced over fences and the extra yardage he faces here should suit judging by his third at Ayr. The biggest danger appears to be Rathlin, who fared better than Art Of Logistics (sixth) and Turban (fell) when taking the minor honours in the Topham. Toon River has been raised 9lb for his impressive display at Gowran last month but cannot be ignored if he returns in a similar mood. Gold Bullet and You Must Know Me were closely matched before the latter came down at Clonmel and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top here.
