SIXTH SENSE built on the promise of his placed effort in the Scottish Brocklesby with an encouraging one-length third at Newbury, and is backed to continue his progression with a maiden success. The market should provide a telling guide to his opponents' chances, but First To Post is particularly interesting as Richard Fahey has a 45% strike-rate with his two-year-olds in April. However, the son of Acclamation will probably be better over further in time, whereas, on pedigree at least, Dodgy Bob and Safe Voyage should be at home over the minimum trip.

This can go to a newcomer. BOSSIPOP is preferred to Dodgy Bob without the benefit of market clues. Sixth Sense sets the bar pretty high so has to be respected.

FALLEN FOR A STAR did a lot of the hard work in front before he was pegged back in the closing stages in the Wood Ditton and he shades the vote for a yard in sparkling form. One concern was that he was keen to get on with things on debut and he faces an extra two furlongs here. If he fails to see it out, Perfect Glance could be the one to capitalise as she was a two-length third at Kempton and should be seen to better effect over middle-distances. Making Shapes offered encouragement on his first outing at Nottingham and completes the shortlist.

Pleasant Valley is only reluctantly passed over, though, as she progressed well during her three-year-old campaign, as highlighted by her creditable fifth in a Listed race at Yarmouth when last sighted. That duo concede match fitness to Lingfield scorer Saturation Point, who has just her second start on turf, and 2012 winner Easy Terms.

Sparring shaped as though the step up to 1m4f would suit when digging in to land a Windsor event and has to feature near the top of the shortlist under a penalty. SOUL SEARCHER might be worth a try at the projected prices, though, as she looked ahead of her mark when scoring from 6lb lower at Beverley. Cosmic Statesman steps up in class after finishing a one-length runner-up at Nottingham but cannot be ignored for a yard in flying form. Vive Ma Fille should have her best days ahead of her and can pick up some minor money.

A punitive 12lb hike will surely test NORMANDY BARRIERE's mettle, but he comfortably beat a subsequent winner at Redcar and might remain feasibly treated. The returning Free Entry is feared most as her victory over the minimum trip last September has produced two subsequent winners and her trainer has previously stated that a sterner test ought to suit her. C&D winner Ocean Sheridan posted a pleasing performance when third at Nottingham on his reappearance and should appreciate the extra furlong.
