MARCHING TUNE is two from five for new trainer Patricia Farro and this drop in class is expected to bring about further success over this C&D. Punta Sal and What Now are others to take seriously in the build up.
WOW ME is beginning to come back to her best form and is expected to thrive now dropped back to the extended 5f having appeared to tire close home over 6f on her last two starts. Can't Catch Kaz and My Mama Gator are others to consider.
A competitive looking claimer on paper can go the way of BEAUREAL. The four-year-old colt continues to improve after just three starts for his new yard and, following a game second over the extended 6f latest, this could be his chance. Town Squared and Wildcat Lake make most appeal of the others.
CATCH ME KAZ finally got his head in front on his fourth start for Keith LeBarron and is expected to continue on an upward curve in what looks a very winnable starter allowance event. Of the others, Distinctly and Kelly's Ridge are of interest and must enter calculations.
There is likely better to come from Pleasant Earth now he is eased in grade but preference is for GREAT THOR, who advertised his well-being when second over C&D latest and is fully effective under these conditions. Party Night steps up in trip and is another to consider.
FINE COGNAC failed to see out the trip when stepped up to the extended 6f here last month and is taken to return to winning ways now eased in both trip and grade. Sure Got It is another who should relish this easier test and merits inclusion on the shortlist, along with Beer Is Good.
JAKE N ELWOOD went down by just a head over C&D earlier in the month and wouldn't need to improve much upon that effort to gain compensation in the same grade tonight. Joey Whispers and Rovin Man make most appeal of the remainder.
Romp City is respected now eased in grade but marginal preference is for THE CAMDEN COMET, who looked at one with himself when landing a C&D contest in this grade latest, posting a career-best speed figure in the process. Bristol Dancer is respected on the back of his recent Aqueduct success and completes the shortlist.
HIGH QUALITY got the better of Oh So Bella when scoring over 6f here last time and is expected to confirm those placings over this extra yardage. Pilot Point Lady is feared most on the back of her last-time-out third at Laurel.
MESTIC went down by just a neck over C&D earlier in the month and is taken to go one better while operating in the same grade once again. Blame The Jockey looks the main danger on the back of his third behind the selection latest. Dan's Ginger and Candy Heart make most appeal of the remainder.
