In a field full of debutants, the market should be monitored closely for clues here. NEVER GONE SOUTH changed hands for 90,000 dollars earlier this year and is expected to get the better of True Knockout and Spillwright to score.
FIRE ALARM was touched off by a neck by Hoppy Do over a route here last time but had a wide route round and it would come as no surprise to see the form reversed. Recent C&D second One Fast Sarava looks best of the rest.
CAJOLERY posted a solid effort when second on debut at Pimlico recently and is expected to step up on that effort now granted this extra yardage. Redworrioress is similarly expected to build on her debut effort, though a bigger danger may be newcomer Disco Rose.
STAR OF MAGIC went down by a nose when second over 5f at Penn last time and is expected to go one better now granted this extra yardage. Peppi Knows drops in grade and has place possibilities along with the consistent Brannaman.
CALIPARTY left a favourable impression when romping home by five lengths here recently and should remain competitive now returning in the same grade. El Oh El, third behind the selection latest, has place claims along with grade-dropper Regal Strike.
FAR OUT WEST was tapped for toe over 5f at Delaware last month and promises to be suited by this much stiffer test. Salty's Hero is worth a market check on his first start since being gelded, while the consistent Peace Militant is unlikely to be far away either.
GROOVY DANCER landed minor money over 1m here last time out and is expected to confirm form with the reopposing third, Wild Pantera, and find the improvement needed to score. Albertina commands respect now eased in grade and is the one expected to put up most resistance.
AGAINST THE WIN appears to be on an upward trajectory and is expected build on his recent victories at Tampa and go on to complete a hat-trick. Make My Saturday drops in grade and merits a market check, as does Generally George, who has back-class in abundance but returns from a lengthy absence.
BUDDY'S SMART was third in a stronger contest here last time and is entitled to build on that effort now dropped in grade. Wils Reward and I Love It can battle it out for the silver medal.
