BREN'S FRIEND has been hammering on the door and she gets the vote to claim a much deserved win. Her biggest dangers look to be Deputy Gone Wild and Sidisinforthree.
The in-form X COUNTRY GIRL gamely regained the winning thread over track and trip and another massive run is forecast. Angel In Waiting and Sand Box are also expected to go well.
I'MTRULYINTHEMOOD shades the verdict in a trappy heat following his neck defeat at the track last time. Fivefourthreetwone and Reaching Out are others to consider.
LENDERS WAY was getting closer the further they went when tackling six furlongs recently so the step up in trip could signal a return to winning ways. Adelicate Miss was narrowly denied over a mile at Penn National, but won her last two starts at this venue prior to that, so she looks a danger on her return. Tomica's Spirit arrives fresh from a bold front-running display and can't be discounted.
THUNDER BASIN was a narrow runner-up at Laurel last month and he deserves to go one better after some excellent efforts in defeat. The Morning Guys ran well to finish second at Delaware and looks a big danger, while Movie Night may do better now switched to a route.
PONTUS couldn't get on the premises in a much more valuable race last month and could bounce back now dropped in grade. Convoy Captain won by eight lengths last time so could be a lively player, and Magic Harbor was a runner-up in competitive company last month so could be a player.
CRAFTY CONCORDE scored with plenty in hand over track and trip when last sighted and is expected to hold his own despite a subsequent rise in grade.Thunder Ball and Cantona are the pair expected to put up most resistance.
CONGRESSIONALSTORM was beaten by under two lengths when third over C&D latest and wouldn't need to improve much on that effort in order to land the spoils. Tetherball and Passionforall are unlikely to be far either.
TAX REFORM wasn't at his best when fifth here last month, but the four-year-old remains with potential and is worth a chance to get back on track. Torpedo Cat and Clearly Goods can fight it out for the minor honours.
