AIR ALASKA was denied a hat-trick after a valiant effort at this track last month but can quickly regain a winning thread back in claiming company. Annelle and Albertina are feared most after their recent successes.
BELLA FIGLIA couldn't quite justify favouritism when hanging over seven furlongs at this venue but perhaps the return to six furlongs can combat that fatigue. The dropped-in-grade Just Do It Please is respected along with recent runner-up Whateverworks.
INVOCATION got his head in front on his first visit to this track for new connections and may have more to offer if continuing to improve here. Avalanche Rock and Sir Newcastle also arrive with confidence buoyed by recent victories and look the more attractive alternatives to the selection.
PLAY PRETTY chased home a future winner when fourth on debut and looks the one to side with for an expert handler. Nurse John and Capar Girl filled the places when last sighted at this venue and are feared most.
TRULY A CHAMP found just one rival too strong in a more valuable race last time and looks the one to side with. Drink With Pride is respected after a creditable third last month, while Call Tiger wasn't beaten by far when last sighted and looks the biggest danger to that duo.
Legomyborrego could build on her latest course effort now eased in grade but of more interest is last-time-out C&D third LYRICAL COLORS, who brings stronger recent form to the table. Not A Love Song looks best of the rest.
P J HOOKER went down by a neck over this trip at Monmouth last time and wouldn't need to improve much on that level of form to gain compensation this evening. Darn That Trip and Pink Hero make most appeal of the remainder.
SUPERMON served notice that a return to winning ways was imminent when second over 1m at Laurel last time and is expected to build on that effort to land a second career victory. Dean The Man and Senor Louie complete the shortlist.
CURLY'S PAL left behind some moderate form when second over a route here last time and rates the most likely winner on the back of that effort. Recent course fourth Teflon Tony has place claims along with Wise Son, who steps up in distance.
