Chiricahua Signal and Figsintheforest are expected to be thereabouts with experience under their belts, but LET THE SAINTS caught the eye in a recent workout and the $94,820 purchase is expected to make it a winning start on his racecourse debut.
SAVE THE PARK quickened up in good style when breaking her maiden here last month and the step up in trip is taken to bring about further improvement. She can score at the expense of Angel With Class and Baganara.
THREE RING CIRCUS went down by just a head on his racecourse debut here last month and natural improvement should make him tough to beat. Willow Bob (second) had the reopposing Trini Lime (third) behind on his debut and he's expected to put up most resistance.
BEAR'S GEM struggled to land a telling blow over a longer trip last time but that was a much stronger race than this and improvement could be on the cards now she's eased in grade. Hillaby and Big Brown Brookski are considered the pick of the remainder.
NATURALLY SMOOTH was disappointing on her last run but has claims at this level if back to her best. The consistent Olympic Talent can scrap it out with recent course third Pecan Pie for the silver medal.
BROWN PANTHER commands plenty of respect after hacking up by seven lengths in the Irish St Leger last month and heads the British challenge ahead of Hillstar, who doesn't quite bring the same level of form over the Atlantic as Tom Dascombe's charge. Big Blue Kitten posted a strong effort when fourth in a Belmont Grade 1 last time out and also warrants consideration along with recent Kentucky scorer Suntracer.
BUTILOVESYABABE was closely matched with a future winner when third at this venue last month and looks the one to side with. Ethanol was runner-up in a more valuable heat when last sighted and could be tough to stop if fully wound up for this reappearance, while Hardcastle was a decent third and completes the shortlist.
DREAMSGONEWILD goes for fourth successive victory after landing the Laurel Dash and looks to be improving with each start this year. He gets a tentative vote over Calgary Cat and Black Hornet, who filled first and third spot respectively last month, and can get on the premises again.
This represents a drop in class for DISCO BARBIE, who missed out by just half a length in a Grade 2 last month and she should take all the beating with a repeat performance at this level. Native Bombshell landed a $100k event over slightly further here latest and looks the biggest threat, ahead of Goldstryke Glory.
British raider JUST THE JUDGE was only beaten a length in the Beverley D Stakes on his US debut and, entitled to come on for that run, Charlie Hills' charge is expected to be tough to beat tonight. Deceptive Vision landed a Grade 2 here by two and a half lengths from the reopposing Royal Fury last month and rates the biggest threat on the back of that impressive victory.
Golden Athena and True Attraction must be considered after both going well in defeat last time out but the preference is for SYNERGIST, who takes a marked drop in class.
